Our 1820 rowhouse is conveniently located in Old Town's lovely southeast quadrant. Walk to the shops, galleries, and restaurants on King Street in minutes, enjoy the park across the street, or ride the bike path along the river. Enjoy easy access to Washington, DC attractions via metro, or ride a water taxi to National Harbor or George Washington's house at Mt. Vernon.
The house's first floor features hardwood floors in the living and dining rooms, a small kitchen, half bath, and access to the courtyard with a small fishpool and grill. A split (and steep) staircase leads to the second floor, featuring hardwoods in the master bedroom (with queen-sized bed), second bedroom (with full-sized bed), and den (with a futon that sleeps two), as well as a tiled full bath with a claw-foot tub and small shower stall. The living room and master bedroom have views of the Potomac River. Bed and bath linens are provided. The house was freshly painted inside and out in the summer of 2009.
