My newly remodeled vacation apartment is perched across breathtaking Lago Maggiore from Locarno and Ascona and amidst soaring Alpine peaks and palm trees. The lake is less than a ten minute walk and every room has a staggering view.

Amidst the palms, Alpine peaks, and deep blue lakes, you'll find the best of Mediterranean Europe: a laid back atmosphere with Italian cuisine, climate, architecture, and language. From Northern Europe you'll notice the cleanliness, efficiency, and infrastructure that allow you to relax.
Lago Maggiore is an ideal place to get away from it all. Some prefer to just relax on the balcony with a glass of wine and soak in the view. Others enjoy the myriad activities from hiking, swimming, biking, boating, water-skiing, horseback riding, to hang-gliding, skiing, and paragliding.

Why the Owner Chose Locarno
Together we have travelled to over 60 countries and we find Ticino to be the most spectacular, comfortable, and inviting place on Earth. The combination of Northern European efficiency and Mediterranean joie de vivre is impossible to beat. Even though in the center of Europe and just 90 minutes from Milan, Ticino still feels light years removed from it all.
