We had so much fun at this house!

We just stayed over Memorial Day weekend. Two adults, two kids (4 and 10) and two small dogs. It was a great house for our family. The kids LOVED the room with the bunk beds; they had to take turns with who slept on the top bunk. Steve and Rosalie (the owners) were fantastic communicators and excellent to work with. There was brand new log furniture and a new washer and dryer, which we used because, well, kids. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfy and the hot tub was nice to come home to. The showers were nice and hot, and the kitchen had everything we could have wanted. We grilled one night, and were bummed to find out the grill was out of gas. But, no problem, because there was an extra tank in the garage! The house is within walking/biking distance to SHARC. We swam, went down the tubing hill, and played on the playground. We had brought pool towels, but they were provided at the house, which was a nice touch. The only reason I didn't give the house 5 stars was the bikes. We brought a bike for my 4 year old because there weren't any his size according to Steve and Rosalie. There were 4 other bikes; one with 24" wheels (8-11 year old size) and the rest were adult sized. Of the 3 adult bikes, the red Giant had flat tires and I couldn't find a pump, and one of the cruisers appeared to have a bent chain stay so with every rotation of the wheel it was like having extra brakes applied. I bike to work in Portland, so I'm more than happy to wrench on bikes, but there wasn't anything I could do about either, unfortunately. We only went on one ride, which was a bummer, because that's how we were planning to get around Sunriver. Not a huge deal, we simply walked or drove The kids still rode around in circles around Raccoon Lane. In fact at times there were bunches of kids riding around the circle, it looked like a racetrack. Again, if biking isn't on your list of things to do, this house is perfect. We're thinking of booking it again late summer, and simply bringing our own bikes.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This was our first trip to Sunriver and it was great. We loved the home and its decor. Really clean and comfortable. The SHARC passes are a big bonus. Our kids loved going there and so did we. Having the bikes there to ride everyday was also a plus. We can't wait to go back.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car.

We had a great time at Sunriver. The property was just as advertised and we enjoyed our stay. The property owners were pleasant to work with and everything was as promised. The weather was great and we had the opportunity to go to the High Desert Museum, Newberry National Monument and the Lava cave area. The new aquatic center was great. The passes provided by the owners made it very accessible for all and the kids had a wonderful time. Fun for all ages.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Bless the owners of this home for making it so welcoming for their guests. We arrived in Sunriver at night after a long, traffic congested, rainy drive from Portland only to find the Village Grocery store closed. When we opened the door to this home we were greeted by a charmingly rustic, spotlessly clean space with beautiful wood-beamed vaulted ceilings, wood floors and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is well-stocked with essentials but the best of all was coffee! What a wonderful treat knowing we wouldn't have to rush out in the morning to buy coffee. There are also small bottles of shampoo and conditioner in each shower. The beds were comfortable, there are lots of books and games and the private hot tub was a welcome respite after a long day of walking and biking. The location is great too. The home is walking distance to the Village but in a quiet spot. Thank you to the owners for going above-and-beyond to make their guests feel welcome. We will certainly stay in this home again the next time we're in Sunriver.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

The house is the best. Well stocked kitchen, with lots of room to cook. Outdoor deck backs to a quiet area and the beds were great. Really nice owners worked with our schedule and our Retriever loved the location, lots of room to run. We would definitely rent again and expect to be back this summer for some skiing on the mountain.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

The house was very nicely decorated and the kitchen was stocked with all the amenities and tools of home. Loved the very large island kitchen and the hot tub! The beds were all comfortable as well. Really convenient to the Sunriver Village. The ping pong table was fun and the extra refrigerator was great! The owner was really great to work with. We would definitely stay there again!
