Our gulf-front corner condo has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms and is located on the west end of The Beach Club's Doral Tower. The Doral Tower has nothing beside it to the west but open beach, so our condo is one of the few to have truly unobstructed views up and down the beach. Relax on the balcony and enjoy the sunset any time of the year!
The condo is located on the second floor, only one flight of stairs away from the pool, hot tub, and the beach, so there is no need to wait on the elevators. It is spacious, children friendly, and has been beautifully decorated. There are flat screen HDTVs with DVD players in every room and there is an iPod/IPhone docking stereo. Free high speed internet with WiFi and long distance are included.
The master bedroom shares a gulf-front balcony with the living room and has a king bed. The master bathroom has his/her sinks, vanity area, and separate toilet, tub/shower. The second bedroom suite has a queen bed, its own full bathroom with tub/shower, and a private balcony with gulf views. The third bedroom has twin beds and an adjacent third full bathroom with a shower and large vanity. The living room has a queen sleeper-sofa and views both out to and down the beach. The large kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked.
In addition to the beach-front pool and hot tub at Doral Tower, our guests have unlimited access to all of the facilities of the private clubhouse. These include a large year-round heated indoor pool with elegant locker rooms, a large outdoor pool and hot tub, a kiddie pool, a pool-side restaurant and tiki-bar (seasonal), a well-equipped exercise center, saunas, steam rooms, a game room, a basket ball court, shuffle board courts, and 8 championship clay tennis courts. During the Summer enroll your children in the Pirates Brigade day camp and enjoy frozen drinks at the pool-side tiki bar or kayak rentals, para-sailing, or one of the many activities offered directly on the beach.
The Beach Club is a destination resort with its own 1/4 mile of sugar white beach on the Fort Morgan peninsula in beautiful Gulf Shores. There are 6 pools, 2 restaurants, an ice cream parlor, a gift shop and a professional spa on the property. It is only minutes away from wonderful golf, marinas, nature parks, restaurants, and many other attractions. One half mile west is Kiva Dunes Golf Course (18 holes), and a few miles east is the Peninsula Golf Club (27 holes). A few miles further west is the Gulf Shores Marina, next to historic Fort Morgan (a real civil war fort) and the ferry which runs to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
There are many good restaurants near our condo. From the waterfront SouthBeach Restaurant at The Beach Club, to Behind the Pines Restaurant and Sam's Pizza both located right next door, to Tequila's Mexican Restaurant, Ocean's Pizza and Tacky Jack's all right down the road - there are plenty to choose from. Take a look at our map for more information on all of the great nearby eateries and other attractions.
One half mile east of The Beach Club lies the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, which has over 5 miles of natural beaches, both fresh water and salt water fishing, and four wonderful hiking trails (from 1 to 4 miles) that meander around lakes, lagoons and wetlands. The amusement/water parks and zoo of Gulf Shores are only a few more minutes away as are more restaurants, shopping, and the Tanger Outlet Mall.

Map & Owner's Profile
We are in the far western corner of Doral Tower, which is the western most tower at The Beach Club. There is nothing beside our condo but open beach. From our balcony you can see the whole way down to Fort Morgan.
Some of the best coastal walking trails around. Open during daylight hours and completely free. You can pick up maps in the parking area. This is a must do if you like to be outdoors.
Rated one of the best golf courses in Alabama it has 18 holes. The club house also has a restaurant open to the publc.
Good course, 27 holes. Restaurant serves breakfast and lunch and has indoor and outdoor seating on a pretty lakefront setting. Both are open to the public.
Eat while watching the ships come and go at Tacky Jack's II (great sun sets during the summer). Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner right over the bay and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Also check out charter fishing rentals or purchase seafood at the marina.
Worth a visit to Dauphin Island via the ferry. There is also another civil war fort next door that is available for touring.
These are some of the most fantastic gardens in North America and are in bloom year round on a 65 acre estate. You can also take a tour through the Bellingrath mansion our take a dinner cruise on their river boat. The best way to get here is to take the ferry (check schedule) to Dauphin Island from Fort Morgan.
Mini Grocery, wine/liquor store, and carry out pizza place. There is also a great Mexican restaurant located here.
The Pines is a convenience store with a decent selection of food and supplies.
Great seafood and poboys. Serves lunch, dinner or carryout. A real hidden gem of a restaurant.
Southbeach Restaurant has good food for lunch and dinner with beautiful views of the gulf. Eat inside, outside or get carry-out. During the summer there is also a pool-side grill and tiki bar that serves burgers, ice cream, and frozen drinks. This is also the location of the indoor pool, large out-door pool, kiddie pool, exercise center, game room, professional spa, saunas, and steam rooms.
8 Championship clay tennis courts and pro shop. Free for use with our condo.
This Dollar General has a good selection of grocery items, beach items, and hardware at reasonable prices. Also sells wine and beer.
Full service supermarket on corner of Fort Morgan Road and Hwy 59. There is also a Publix grocery store a few miles further up Hwy 59 toward Foley.

We had a girl's weekend at the Beach Club with my nieces, mother-in-law, and cousins. I have been visiting the Beach Club for 10 years and this condo was my absolute favorite! It was so cheery and bright. I love being on the end and opening all the windows. It felt like we were the only ones there! Thank you for such a memorable weekend. Looking forward to next time!

We have stayed several times at this beautiful condo. It suits our family of eight very well. With the laundry facilities, the well furnished kitchen and the comfortable living spaces, we can function with the utmost convenience. We love the fact that this is an end unit so the view from the outside balcony is breathtaking. From the condo to the pool area to the surrounding grounds, all are so well maintained. This is definitely a relaxing place to spend family time. We like the location in that it is away from the traffic of Gulf Shores but close enough that we can go into town to grocery shop or eat at some of our favorite places. Everyone needs to eat at Lambert's, and Lulu's is great, too. For the kids there are endless things to do. The beach and sand are always fun. Relaxing by the pool and cooling off with a swim is always welcome. With the breeze almost always blowing, kite flying in the big field is such fun. In town there is a great little amusement park for everyone's enjoyment. Not far from the Beach Club is a ferry that goes to Dauphin Island. We will be returning for another fulfilled vacation very soon!

We absolutely loved staying in this condo. Being on the 2nd floor was great b/c we have 2 small children so toting everything back and forth to the beach and pool was so much easier being so close to stairs and only one floor up. But the main reason I loved this condo was the furninshings. So many condos have cheap, uncomfortable and unattractive "beach themed" furniture. Not this condo. So well furnished and decorated. The furniture was very comfortable and stuff that I would pick if I were shopping. And the decor was perfect. Also, the kitchen was so well stocked! It had everything we needed and lots more. Just and overall fantastic condo. Will definately stay again!

We were very comfortable staying in this condo. Decorating was pleasing (beachy), kitchen is well equipped and the furniture was plush and comfortable. The views from the deck, living room and kitchen are fabulous. Sunsets and palm trees are beautiful. The Franz' are easy to deal with. We stayed the month of February, hopefully we can return.

I just wanted you to know how much our group of 6 ladies LOVED your place! We found it to be perfect for our needs. The bedding was luxurious and comfy and the furnishings were beautiful. Great seating in the den and super TV's for football wathcing, (though we didn't have much time for that). The kitchen is very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the view and the location couldn't be better. We even indulged ourselves in the hot tub after 2 matches of tennis each day! Great condo! Thanks!!
