A beautiful, warm, spacious and welcoming beach front home nestled in a grove of sea pines in the shadow of the majestic Twin Rocks. This is a perfect home for a secluded and relaxing getaway - or as an easy access hub to fantastic restaurants, fishing, hiking, shopping, beach combing, golfing, & spectacular sunsets. Only steps away from the water's edge, this home has a charming, lighted path to miles of unspoiled beaches.
Arranged and appointed to maximize views and comfort, this home is warm and inviting. Meet in the nook for breakfast - with seagulls and surf just steps away. Relax with a movie or watch TV in the great room. Play games or search for wildlife and fishing boats with the telescope or just snuggle into a private sitting area to watch the storms roll in or read a good book.
The Upper Master Suite has a premium queen size bed, sitting area, desk and TV, with an adjoining private full size bath with a tile-encased shower. The Lower Master Suite has a premium queen size bed, sitting area and TV. This suite also has a private 3/4 bath and direct access to the outdoor hot tub and the lighted beach path.
The Bunk Room is a perfect refuge for up to four adults or a dream room for kids of all ages. This suite has two bunks with four twin beds, full size TV and DVD player, comfortable couch and a private 3/4 bath. This room also has its own deck and beach access.
The Hot Tub is located on a deck just outside the lower master suite. It is full size and is professionally maintained and accessible from all points in the home. It's the perfect setting to unwind from a day of exploration - fully accompanied by the roar of the Pacific ocean.
Plenty of board games, puzzles, outdoor basketball hoop, and ping pong table in the garage offer a wide assortment of activities without even leaving the house.
There are activities nearby for every family member: take a walk to the Bar View Jetty or stroll to Rockaway -- or enjoy a bonfire on the beach and roast some marshmallows. Tour the Tillamook Cheese Factory and sample the ice cream (a family tradition!). Go fishing or crabbing out of Garibaldi or Nehalem. Go shopping and antiquing in nearby towns.

A great location on the Oregon Coast

We booked this house for a teenager's birthday "sleepover" party--six girls and us two adults. The girls had plenty to do both at the house (all sorts of games and tv options) and also nearby. They loved the huge sand dune that they could race each other down but maybe the "coolest" thing was to jump in the cold surf and then race back to hop in the jacuzzi. The room with the bunk beds was a hit too. For the adults (and the kids), the view from the top floor was outstanding. We had sunshine the first day and it was nice to just sit and watch the sun set. That night, a storm rolled in and the next morning, we watched the wind make the trees sway and the surf churn. Watching that from the big picture windows (and with a big cup of coffee in our hands) was just about perfect. Food-wise, there are a couple of choices in restaurants nearby but the "big city" is Tillamook, about 15 minutes away. I suggest cooking a meal (or just pizzas) in the kitchen and enjoying the view from the house instead. Happy travels!

This house was at a beautiful location and our family had a wonderful time. The split level was very nice and we really enjoyed the private beach access, our 89 year old grandmother had no trouble getting to the beach. The house did have some problems that interfered with our vacation, mainly the refridgerator was not working properly and did not keep the food cool at all. The stove also was not heating properly and made it difficult to cook meals for large groups. If these issues are addressed then we would definatly rent this house again. I loved the large assortment of games and the inclusion of toddler games was very nice.
Owner response:Property manager notified immediately to review all appliances in the home. Any and all repairs necessary have been authorized and funded.

Absolutely a beautiful home and setting. This is our family's favorite retreat on the Oregon Coast at any time of the year. We've stayed here several times and hope to come back soon.

Exceeded our expectations. Just a great place. Perfect for two couples and kids or an extended family. Spectacular views and really, really comfortable. We loved just hanging out on the deck and beach but also did quick day trips up to Manzanita/Can Beach and south to Pac City. Highly recommend.
