In El Paraiso in Isla Margarita we have a special house in an exclusive neighborhood with walking distance to the historic and charming town Pampatar and several beaches.
The house has space for up to 12 people. The property has a discreet and private tropical garden where you may sit under the shade, do sunbathing, take a swim in the pool with waterfall and jacuzzi. The attractive open kitchen with its location almost becomes a part of the garden. The house brings in lots of sunlight and have a fresh wind breeze. Modern furniture and spacious rooms. Air condition in all bedrooms, ceiling fans in the kitchen and outside areas.

Are you coming with kids?
Families with kids - like us - are concerned about security and to have a vacation where both kids and adults can relax and enjoy their stay. This house is protected from the road with walls and a locked gate. The swimming pool is visible from the kitchen, the living room, the office and also one bedroom upstairs. The access to the garden with the pool may be 100% locked so that kids can't get access.
Do you need to work during your vacation?
If you need to do some computer work or use internet during your stay, that is no problem. There is a large and quite impressive office/library upstairs in the house. Sit there and use your laptop connected to internet via WiFi, or wherever you want to sit. In the shade by the pool maybe? :-)

Why the Owner Chose Pampatar
In the late 90s I was working in the capital Caracas (where I met my wife) and found Margarita to be a different and great place to stay. We moved from Caracas to the Caribbean island in 2006 and had a plan to stay there for a short while in order to invest in a house for the future. We ended up buying two houses, getting lots of friends, started a business and stayed much longer than we planned for, much thanks to this house. The feeling of living there was just wonderful.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The climate is simply perfect all year around with its more than 320 sunny days. El Paraiso's location at the island is just great. Walking distance to the modern part of the island with its nice restaurants, beaches and modern services. You are maximum 30 minutes away from the best beaches the island may offer - 70 of them in total. The house with the private garden, the pool and the open kitchen gives you a peaceful, quiet and intimate experience. It has enough space to get some privacy when you want, even if you are a large group.

I have been living in Isla Margarita for several years, married to a Venezuelan woman. We lived in the house for a while with our two young kids and simply loved it. But due to school and work, we are now back in my home country Norway. I know Isla Margarita very well from my work within rentals and real estate, and have valuable contacts in the island. I can provide references from clients that rented the house. They all loved it - and I miss it! My plan is to keep the house and move back to it when I retire. The Norwegian climate is only for special interested people :-)
