As you walk through the door the first thing you'll notice is the warm wood interior and rich burnt orange color that gives "Longhorn Lodge" it's name. Recently remodeled and updated, it features a spacious open floor plan elegantly furnished on two levels. The upper level has a large gourmet kitchen that opens to the living, den and two dining areas. The living area has panoramic views of Lake Travis through the expansive windows, and the den is a comfortable seating area with a wide screen HD plasma TV. Sliding glass doors invite you to a large deck overlooking Lake Travis. The upper level also features the master suite with private bath and a sliding glass door to the lakeside deck. Two more bedrooms and two full bathrooms complete the upper level.
The lower level is a large open game room with a poker/card table, foosball table, sitting area, full bathroom and room for the queen size deluxe Aero bed. A separate Media room with HD plasma wide screen and surround sound has a sleeper sofa for more bed space. Sliding glass doors lead to a covered lower patio area with 2 patio tables, plenty of shade and a propane gas grill.
The private covered boat dock with hoist for up to a 23 ft. boat, is available for your use. It has a large covered deck area, swim ladders and large side area for visitors to tie to.

The Longhorn Lodge was the perfect spot for our weekend vacation. The house was immaculate, and had all of the ammenities for which we were looking. The pictures do not do this house justice, so you will just have to see it to believe it. My guests have even said they want to go back, and soon. The only negative about the entire property is the long walk up and down the stairs to the dock. Be aware that walking back up is much worse, if you are affraid of heights. Enjoy!

We loved our stay at "Longhorn Lodge"! Our family spent Christmas here this year. The house was beautiful and full of so many different types of rooms---game room, patios, media rooms, family room, and etc. I would most definitely recommend this property to my friends and relatives. Thank you for helping to make our Christmas a wonderful one!

First, I want to say Thank You to the owners of this wonderful home. Our stay was better than expected and that is because the house was better than expected. The house itself is well maintained and well cared for inside and out. The beds were all very comfortable. I found everything i needed to cook with in the well appointed kitchen. There is plenty of space for several couples and even a couple of families to stay in comfort for several days. The way the house is laid out affords everyone an opportunity to gather and play games, watch movies or just sit quietly to read and enjoy the amazing views. Our 23 ft boat fit perfectly into the slip and the dock/lift appear to be as well maintained as the home. Briarcliff Marina is less than 5 minutes by car and for a small fee we launched the boat.....which was about a 2 minute ride back to the house. There is plenty of room in the drive for a truck with a boat trailer and more than a couple of cars/trucks.The house is also close to Pace Bend Park and within a reasonable distance to some of the more popular Lake Travis hangouts. We have already started planning our trip back to the Longhorn Lodge. I have to say that even our Aggie friends loved the home!!! Thank you again for your hospitality. Kevin and Shelly
