Location: Canmore, Alberta, Canada

Accommodations:  Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-6)

We have loved operating our 1st vacation rental so much (VRBO #164905) that we bought a 2nd unit in the same building!

Our centrally located condo will feel like your home away from home. We are long-term Bow Valley residents and thus our home features special touches not found in any hotel or typical vacation home, such as games, music, books, and movies.

The Condo is 1195 square feet and features a master bedroom with queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. There is a 2nd bedroom with a queen size bed. There are 2 pull-out couches in the living room. The open concept living room-dining room-kitchen opens onto a large balcony overlooking the Three Sisters and Rundle mountains. Our home has a very comfortable feeling. The view is amazing! Local amenities (groceries, liquor, restaurants) are less than a one-minute walk away. With a five-minute walk you can be in the heart of downtown Canmore - full of shops, restaurants, and galleries.

Please note that the private entry to the unit is at street level. Upon entering the foyer area, you then ascend a flight of stairs to access the main living area. There is not an elevator or wheelchair lift inside the unit.

Owner's Profile

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 2009

My husband and I moved to the Bow Valley in 1998 and sought to begin our career in this beautiful area. We had both graduated from Hotel & Restaurant Management and this was the perfect area to learn more about the hospitality industry. What began as "we're only staying for 6 months" quickly turned into "we can't imagine living anywhere else in the world". I found my dream job working at The Banff Centre, and my husband found his dream job working for the Town of Canmore (after 9 years with the Banff Springs Hotel).

Why the Owner Chose Canmore

With our backgrounds deeply rooted in the hospitality industry, it was easy for us to decide to own a vacation rental. We love this area and want to share it with others. Working in a hotel does not offer the same one-on-one guest experience that we can offer in operating a vacation rental.

The Unique Benefits of this Condo

We have tried to outfit our condo with items and amenities that will make this destination a good value for families. Books, movies, family games and more. The Banff National Park Pass that we include with our condo assists in keeping the day-to-day expenses of exploring the area low.

    • I have nothing else to say, but just good things about this condo. We were satisfied with very nice clean rooms and bathrooms, and beautiful views of the mountains from the balcony. We really enjoy our stay here. We enjoy our stay very much in this condo especially the beautiful scenery.
