We've made two new updates to the condo. We replaced the pedestal sinks in both bathrooms with vanities. The vanities have granite counter tops, under-mount sinks and high-end faucets. Updated photos are coming soon. A new sleeper sofa and carpet was installed in 2011 along with a an LCD TV. The condo looks great!
This is one of the nicest condos at Copper Mountain. Compare our 1 Bedroom + Den / 2 Bath condo to any 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo you are considering. Due to the unique floor plan, the living area in our condo is larger than any 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo. Our condo sleeps 6, just like a 2 bedroom condo Compare and save!
It will take you less than 2 minutes to walk to the base of the American Eagle and American Flyer chairlifts.
A true ski in/ski out slope-side Copper Mountain 'Gold' condominium located in Tucker Mountain Lodge. Don't be fooled by other condos that claim they are 'slope side'. Take a look at our pictures- they speak for themselves. This condominium overlooks the American Flyer high-speed quad (four person) chair lift. See the link below for access to our blog containing additional pictures of the condo. The blog also contains YouTube videos of the condo! See to believe!
Tucker Mountain is one of the newest buildings in the Village at Copper Mountain and is located just steps (75 yards) away from the American Flyer high speed chair lift. Don't be fooled by other condos that claim they are slope side.
For example, Passage Point is approximately 1/4 mile from the slopes and yet many of the condos are advertised as 'slope side'. If you're lucky, a Passage Point condo might face the slopes, but 50% of those condos are less than 200 yards from I-70. The only 'gold' Copper Mountain properties that are slopeside are Tucker Mountain Lodge and Copper One. There are only a few 1BR/2BA/Den SLOPESIDE condos in Tucker Mountain Lodge and Copper One. The architects reserved slopeside views for the larger, much more expensive, condos. Our view is one of a kind!
Before you rent any other condo, email me and I will give you an unbiased opinion of where your prospective condo is located and how far you are from the slopes. Once you leave our building, you only have to walk 75 yards to the American Flyer lift. At the end of the day, ski down to the base of the mountain right up to the cobblestone walkway in front of our condo.
Kick off your skis, place them in your own secure ski locker inside the heated locker room located on the first floor of our building. Take the elevator to our condo, put on your swim suit, grab a cold beverage and head to the outdoor hot tub.
Tucker Mountain Lodge is designed as a rustic back-country retreat, entering the lobby of Tucker Mountain Lodge will make you feel like you have just stepped into a historic National Park Lodge!
Our condo features a warm river-rock fireplace and amenities include a huge outdoor hot tub. There is also an exercise room located on the first floor which includes a sauna, weight machine, two exercise bikes, one treadmill, and one elliptical trainer. Our condo includes the following:
* Slope side to the American Flyer Lift
* One-car heated underground garage parking
* Outdoor hot tub
* First floor heated private ski locker on plaza/ski lift level so you won't have to take your skis up and down the elevator.
When you arrive at Copper, you can park your car and leave it parked until you depart if you desire. There's an elevator that will take you from the underground parking garage to the fourth floor where our condo is located. Everything you need is within walking distance from our condominium including restaurants, shops, and night clubs.
Tucker Mountain Lodge is one of newest and best maintained building in the Center Village. Our condo is highly appointed, and extremely homey. We have created a home with all the luxuries and then some: high-end linens, coffee maker, crock pot, dinnerware, stemware, pots & pans and cooking utensils. While the condo was built in 2000, it was recently painted and updated to include solid granite countertops in the kitchen, vanities in both bathrooms with granite countertops & high end faucets and a new LCD TV in the living room. As a result of the update/remodel, this is the nicest 1Bedroom/2Bath condos at Copper Mountain.

My husband, friend and I take an annual ski trip every year. This year we decided to go to Copper Mountain. The condo at Tucker Mtn. was beautifully decorated and the whole process of working with the owner Jim was really easy. The new vanities were really nice and gave us pleanty of storage in the bathroom. Our friend stayed on the murphy bed and she said it was really comfortable. She loved that she had her own bathroom too. The views from the balcony were awesome! You can see the American Flyer lift and the people walking by. The complex is quiet, not a lot of kids and not crazy loud. Very enjoyable and short walking distance to everything. We particulary enjoyed the Alpinista restaurant..you have to check out the breakfast and go back later for the cocktails. The owner Peter is great along with Jason and Danny! The only thing we wish we had was a pizza cutter :-) We went to Frisco, bought the groceries and snacked on those as needed. The kitchen is great and there is pleanty of seating if you want to have friends over for dinner. Overall the stay was terrific, I highly recommend using the humidifiers that are provided. We ran one in the master bedroom and one in the living room at all times. Thanks for a wonderful first time at Copper Mountain!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

You can't beat this unit for the price and location. Very well outfitted, even had condiments and salad dressings in the fridge! We made full meals and found everything we needed. There was plenty of room and my son wants us to buy the bedding that was there because it was so comfortable! Jim was very helpful and recommended places to eat and find things. The only critique is that there was a non-working humidifier, but I bet Jim will take care of it. Also, if you are a cross-country enthusiast, bring your own gear. Suprisingly, with all of the great nordic tracks, there is no place to rent cross country gear in Copper.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Jim was great to deal with, and their family condo was ideal for our family (2 adults, 2 teenage boys). The oversized 1BR/2BA truly did live almost like a 2BR but at a better price. In the heart of the village, and steps from the American lifts, the location was ideal. Underground parking, in-building ski lockers, and a great outdoor hot tub were also pluses. We had a great time and would certainly stay again at Tucker Mountain Lodge.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.

This condo was absolutely perfect for our family! It is updated and well maintained! The condo looks just like it does in the pictures, and it is definitely warm and inviting! We loved the easy accessability to the slopes....We were able to ski in for lunches and breaks without any trouble at all...(the ski lockers are conviently located on the first floor of the building). The owner was very helpful in answering any questions that we had. I would definitely stay in this condo again, and I would have no reservations about recommending it to family or friends!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.

About the owner: Hello, Welcome VRBO 252218. For those of you who have rented from us previously, we have an exciting change to announce. This is our second Copper Mountain condo. We also own a 1BR/1BA condo (VRBO 75920) located in Tucker Mountain many of you have rented since 2003. In March of 2009, we purchased a new condo in the same building (Tucker Mountain Lodge). The new condo featured as VRBO 252218 is nearly 50% larger than our existing 1BR/1BA condo. We look forward to you seeing the new condo.
Why the Owner Chose Tucker Mountain Lodge:
We lived in Colorado for almost 6 years and left in 1992. Colorado is one of the most beautiful places we have ever lived/visited. When we lived in Colorado (Denver), our favorite ski resort was Copper Mountain. We've skied at all of the resorts in the central Rockies and none of them (Winter Park, A-Basin, Loveland, Breck, Keystone, Vail, Monarch & Crested Butte) compare to Copper. That's why Copper is referred to as 'the local's favorite'. You can't beat Copper's location- it is the most accessible ski resort of any of those I previously mentioned. The terriain is varied, so there is 'something for everyone'. When we decided to buy a Colorado condo, we never thought of any location other than Copper Mountain.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The number one benefit of our condo is the LOCATION! We face the slopes. The condo overlooks the American Flyer lift. The condo is less than 75 yards from the slopes! While the condo is slopeside, it is tucked away in a location that is extremely quiet. This condo has been remodeled extensively and now features solid grainte counter tops and fresh paint.
Our condo is a 1 Bedroom with two bathrooms and a den. The condo is 829 square feet and sleeps 6 people comfortably. The Master bedroom has a King bed with a private bathroom. The den, located off the dining area, has a new queen murphy bed. The benefit of the Murphy bed is the mattress- it is a traditional queen size mattress. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa. There are only a few condos like ours at Copper Mountain. The living area (kitchen, living room and dining room) is larger than the traditional 2 bedroom condos located in the Center Village.
Please see the link to my blog which features additional pictures of the condo and three (3) YouTube videos to give you a better idea of the layout & location of our condo.
