Good Choice for Our 6 Week Stay

My husband and I stayed at this condo for 6 weeks (Feb 13 - Mar 27). There was plenty of room for the two of us and our son when he came to visit for a week. Upon arrival we had a few issues that needed attention and the property management company looking after the condo immediately looked after things (they were great!). The condo itself is large and met almost all of our needs. Having a washer and dryer in unit certainly was a plus. The garden area in the complex is quiet and beautiful. The people looking after it do an excellent job in keeping it looking great. The lanai is large and the furniture very comfortable. We spent a lot of time out there - having our morning coffee or wine at the end of the day. Listening to all the birds was so relaxing. The lani overlooked the pool and garden area. It was my favourite place in the condo unit! The only real negative was the beach closest to the condo. It is not as nice as the ones at Kamole I, II and III (which are a couple of miles away). This was a big disappointment for us - but we just got in the car and drove to the other beaches. We found the beach by the condo was good for taking a walk and to watch the sunsets. The pool area is quiet and very clean and there are plenty of chairs. If you do not want to sit in the sun, there are tables and chairs under cover. There are 2 bbqs which are very clean and in the evenings it is a good place to meet the other tenants. There are books you can borrow for reading (a good selection when we were there). There is off-street parking but we parked on the street in front of our condo because it was more convenient. A major grocery store (Times) about half a block away. There are plenty of restaurants, a drug store and other places to shop. For us, it was a good location. One thing I have to say is that the sun ALWAYS shone at this location. Other places on the island had rain but not where this condo is located. We enjoyed our time at this condo and miss it. Jennifer - thank you for sharing your place with us and for all your help.

Sorry the beach across the street wasn't the one you enjoyed going to, but as you said the Kam beaches were just up the road. That is the wonderful thing about Maui, it has so many different variety of beaches in a short distance, that everyone can find something for them. I love Big Beach, beacuse I love the big waves. I hope you went down to our beach in the mornings, it is a great place to watch the turtles come feed on the sea grass in the bay. We are looking forward to your next visit to Maui. Aloha Don and Jennifer. We just wanted to let you know that this was our second trip to your great condo and once again you made our family vacation a wonderful one. We really appreciate the fact that you allowed us a late check out since your next guests didn't check in to the next day. We loved the new bed downstairs, it was so comfortable, we slept like babies. The gardens was so beautiful and we loved sitting on the lanai on that great furniture. It has been 3 years since we came last time and hopefully it wont be that long until next time. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for a fantastic stay at your beautiful condo. Just returned from 8 days and was so pleased with everything. The condo was wonderfully decorated and well maintained There were 5 Adults, and there was more than enough room. Drinking coffee in the sun on the lanai over looking the pool every morning, after a walk on the beach was the perfect start to the day. Centrally located, easy to get everywhere. It was my first time in Hawaii, and I would certainly go back. Thank you again

Don and Jennifer. Wow, what a wonderful vacation!! Fantastic weather, beautiful grounds and an absolutley awesome condo. It was exactly as described in the listing and photos. The owners (I dealt mostly with Don) went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. He informed us of the best restaraunts (loved Bubba Gumps) and shopping both in Kihei and around the Island. I will definately be back. Aloha

Hi Jennifer and Don We loved your unit. It was perfect for us and my parents. There was enough of room for all of us so we weren't tripping over each other. The complex was beautiful and well taken care of. We loved the pool and that we didn't need to be up at the crack of dawn to get a spot. We did however get up way before dawn to go see the sunrise over the volcano like you suggested and it was magnificant. I will also give a shout out to the best burger I have every had at Cool Cats, thanks again for that tip. We loved sitting on the lanai and taking in the peace and quiet. Your unit was clean and well equipt and a great choice. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for getting us in at the last minute. We booked somewhere else but arrived and found the unit and the location not to be what was promised. A friend stays at Kihei Garden Estates when she goes and told us to stay here but we didn't listen. Thankfully this condo was available and we got in with an hour's notice and we will always stay here from now on. When we arrived they were setting up a new king size bed so we were the first to sleep on it and what a sleep. It was the best sleep I have ever had. The complex is beautiful and right across the street from the beach. Take my advice and book here.

Hi Don and Jennifer We stayed in your beautiful condo two years ago and loved it. But last year we decided to stay in a resort in Kaanapali to have all the amenities like room service and maid service. We were shocked that we paid more than twice as much and the room was old and in the corner of the complex. It was also filled with bugs. So this year we went back to you guys and had a great time. It was great sitting on the lanai and seeing a beautiful setting instead of a the parking lot. I love the fact that we could come back for whatever we were doing and always get a chair at the pool. I was nice to see that you guys have kept the place looking new and up to date. Love the new lanai furniture. It was a pleasure to sit on. Too bad we missed the arrival of the new bed your management company said was ordered. Next time. We will be back.

Great vacation

Kihei gardens is such a wonderful place for a laid back Maui vacation. This unit was great for the 4 of us as each couple had plenty of room and our own bathroom, the in unit washer and dryer is great for those of us that like to pack light. We love to cook and this kitchen had all the equipment, great outdoor barbecue, and a great patio over looking the pool and hot tub. Oh and that lovely mango tree. Great location, we loved being able to walk to the market, short drive to makena beach and to the harbor for whale watching.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

We have jut spent 2 great weeks in Maui and enjoyed your condo very much. We had another couple join us and there was plenty of room and space for privacy with the loft. The location to amenities is great and central to so many places we travelled to. We enjoyed the beach and/or the pool daily. Your condo was just as it looked in the pictures. We used some of the beach mats left there and as they were starting to deteriorate, we left you with some new ones to use. Paradise Vacations did a great job of the booking and providing us with all the necessary information we needed upon our arrival....all around it was a great vacation and we are sorry to be leaving tomorrow. I am sure you will be hearing from us again soon!

We spent a great two weeks at your wonderful condo in November. We spent most mornings at the beach and late afternoons at the pool. The unit is clean and well stocked. One of your boogie boards was broken by the previous guest so we left the one we bought there for your future guests. Your suggestions of where to go was great. We loved Paia. We took over this rental from our friends that couldn't make it. It sucks to be them because we had an awesome time. The weather was great and the apartment is better than we have a home. I'm bummed to leave. We are thinking of hiding out until we get caught.

Had a great 2 weeks here in Maui. We are sad to go. Your unit was clean and well appointed. We cooked here almost every night. We did however splurge at Buzz's Wharf. The kids loved the privacy of the loft area to play. This unit is perfect for a large family like ours. Thanks again for everything.

Aloha Jennifer We returned to Maui in June and stayed at your beautiful condo again. Once again your unit provided us with everything we needed. We really liked the addition of the screen door at the front. It was great to have that open and get the wonderful cross breeze through both doors. Also we loved the plastic glasses and plates you added, so we could eat down by the pool when we barbequed. The grounds were again beautiful but we did miss the mangos. Maybe in February they will be in season. We had a great time and are looking forward to our next trip in February. The friends we brought with us loved it so much that they are taking their children out again at spring break so save it for them. Lilian and Max

This condo was lovely and in a great location. We were central to everything we wanted to do on the island. The pool area was great after a long day of siteseeing, there was always a place to laydown. We meet some great people in the hottub at night. We will definetly be calling you again.

Jennifer & Don, thank you so much for renting your condo to us! We had a fanstastic time in Maui. The condo was comfortable, well stocked and the location was perfect. We ended up eating dinner there almost every night as we were usually so tired from the days activities, it was nice to not have to go out for a meal. The complex is quiet and beautifully landscaped. Finding fresh mangoes in the grass was a great addition to our breakfast! The pool was a welcome retreat every evening to cool off before going to sleep and a great opportunity to see a bull frog the size of a chicken! Having the beach so close was perfect, we were all able to come and go as we pleased. The little canal just down the beach was a great place to see fish and exotic birds. I would and have recommended your condo to anyone. I can't wait to go back again.

Bonjour, nous sommes de Paris en France et nous avons eu un bon moment dans ce condo confortable. Il est livré avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour profiter de votre séjour. Nous avons cependant pense que plus de gens parlent le français que les Français ne se déposent sur les îles Hawaii. Néanmoins nous avons eu un bon moment et sera revenir en arrière. Nous aimions la piscine et des terrains. Il était très calme. Je recommande fortement cette cond à toute personne qui est à la recherche d'un lieu comforable avec le sentiment de la maison. La seule chose que je voudrais mettre en garde les gens, c'était le fou qui a crié à nous lorsque nous étions à la piscine. Merci de nous avoir comme clients.

We had a great couple of weeks in Maui. This condo is well worth it. It is lovely and comfortable and is well stocked with everything you need. The owner is very helpful and accommodating. The boogie boards that were advertised had gone missing before our stay so she had her property management drop off 2 boards for our kids the next day. The complex is very pretty and quiet. We loved the upstairs unit. A couple we met at the pool were staying in a lower level and said they could hear the people upstairs. It made us very conscience of our noise level. I am a very light sleeper and the only noise I heard was in the early morning when a group of people took their walk and talked loudly every morning at 6:00am. We loved having the loft for our kids, it gave them a place to go play when we were inside. Having the washer /dryer inside the unit was very convenient. The only down fall I have is the beach in front of the condo was very sea weedy and my kids wouldn’t swim there. I was told it was because of the Tsunami caused it to come loose and come ashore. We would definitely stay at this condo again. Thanks for a great trip.

Aloha. We took the last minute rental on March 10, 2011 and ended up in the middle of a tsunami warning. Your management handled it very well letting us know where to go and so on. We went up country and met a group of locals that were serving breakfast to all us displaced visitors. It actually turned into a enjoyable day. Once back into the unit we were pleased to see that no damage was done to the unit or the property so we spent the next few days of our trip enjoying maui. You have a beautiful and comfortable unit. Thanks for the deal. We picked a interesting 5 days to travel. Our prayers go out to the people of Japan.

Great Winter Escape

This condo provides everything as promised in the listing. The photos are exactly what the condo looks like upon arrival. Everything inside is clean and very well laid out with adequate supplies to make you feel at home. The surrounding grounds and pool area are absolutely immaculate. Stores are so close that you can easily walk for groceries, restaurants or shopping. The beach is also close enough to walk to in the morning with your coffee or relax and watch the sunset in the evening. Although this condo is in a great location for all amenities; we would recommend renting a car when visiting Maui only because there are so many beautiful places to see. (Book early) The owners are very helpful in answering any questions and suggesting activities and restaurants while in Maui.

We have never been to Maui before so we were excited. We found great airfare and a fully stocked condo for a good price for the month of September. Our friends stayed here a while back and gave us the owners information. We weren’t disappointed. It was a beautiful unit with all the things needed for a wonderful trip. Jennifer, the owner found out it was our wedding aniversary and had a wonderful bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The unit was large, clean and beautifully decorated. We were right across the street from a great beach. The pool was large and clean. We have been to Mexico many times and we always needed to be at the pool early to get a chair. Here no matter what time we went down we could find a place to sit. The grounds were very pretty and we spent mornings sitting out on the deck enjoying the garden. Jennifer was very nice and helpful, giving us tips on where to go and what to see. We loved our trip and will definitely be back and will stay here again.

Loved Maui

I just wanted to take the time to tell you what a wonderful time we had. We have never been to Maui before and were a bit tentative about renting a condo not knowing anything about the area or complex. We were pleasantly surprised. It is a great condo, clean and well maintained. The complex is gorgeous with a wonderful garden that we got to look out over every day. The pool was great for the kids who spent most of the time we weren’t at the beach at the pool. There was also lots of entertainment close by and my 18 year old son loved the gym across the street, he went every day. Thanks for the restaurant suggestions. The beach by the unit is a little tame for us but we had no trouble finding the Kamamole beaches just up the road. We had a great time. We will definitely be back again. My wife and I wanted to thank your family for the use of your condo. We had a great time. We live in Winnipeg, and we were pleased to escape the cold, like your banner states. Our daughter and granddaughter came out with us and we all loved the quite complex and clean pool. The condo was big enough for all of us to have our own space when we wanted, so that was a plus. With the kitchen in the unit it made for a very economical trip and with the grocery store on the next block it was great. Even though we did eat out once and a while, we spent most of our night on the lanai having a nice family supper. The beach in front of the complex was great for my granddaughter because of the calmness of the water. I preferred Charlie Young beach up the road because I like the big waves, I may be a grandpa but still young at heart. Thanks again for the great condo. We will definitely be back next winter but for longer.

Hi Jennifer: I just wanted to thank you for renting us your condo. We had a iincredible time at the Wedding. All our family stayed in condos in the complex, but I think we had the best unit. It was well supplied and comfortable. We loved the area and enjoyed family dinners at the barbeque area. My parents loved to sit out on the lanai at night while we took the children to the pool. Thank you again for allowing such a large group in your condo. We thought it would be tight but there was enough privacy for everyone. Thanks again Janice, Napa Valley CA

Hi Jennifer and Family:My family and I had a great time visiting Maui. Your condo was fantastic. We felt right at home except we don’t have the beautiful weather and beautiful grounds of the complex where we come from. We enjoyed waking up and sitting on the lanai eating breakfast. I really liked the fact that the bedroom upstairs gave my daughters a place to go. I love the space and it made the vacation peaceful. The caretaker looked after the grounds with pride and your property manager was very helpful and a great asset to you. We spent every night sitting on the beach across the street watching the sun go down and drinking margaritas. My daughters, 12 and 14 years loved the pool and it was great being able to keep an eye on them right from the lanai. A great beach called Charlie Young is only a 5 minute drive away where the waves are great for body surfing. My friend and her family are booked in February, and I know they will love it just as much. Thanks for the advice on the restaurants and activities. The Old Lahina Laua was definitely fun. Thanks so much. We are defiantly booking for next year.Tamara
