Visiting Missoula for the holidays? Looking for a little peace and privacy? We'd love for you to consider staying in our guest house. It's charming, quaint, and cozy... just a sweet little cottage in the Rattlesnake!

This classic bungalow Cottage is quintessential Missoula. Located in the Lower Rattlesnake, one of Missoula’s most desirable and popular neighborhoods, the Cottage is just 2 ½ blocks to both Greenough Park and Mt. Jumbo trailheads. A lovely ten to fifteen minute stroll will get you to the University of Montana, Downtown Missoula, the Missoula Farmers Market, and the Clark Fork River.

Less expensive than a hotel and with loads more personality, the cottage is the perfect home base for Griz fans, fly-fishermen, writers, photographers, hunters, U of M students and their visiting parents, business travelers, University faculty and professors, and couples/small families looking for a vacation “home away from home.” The cottage is basic (nothing luxurious here... no landline, no television except for movies) but it DOES have wireless internet access and is clean, cute, and comfortable... and close to everything.

The cottage was previously booked through January, but a guest's change of plans has made it AVAILABLE FOR THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS! Other dates available as well.

  • Stayed here in the early fall and it was a "step back in time" visit to Missoula. The clean and cozy cottage was a refreshing change from motel monotony. About three blocks away is a great little park with an easy hiking trail and a stony brook. Will definitely stay here again.

  • I stayed here for a few weeks during the summer and could not have had a better experience! The location is truly perfect, and the cottage is very charming with a high ceiling, which makes it feel very open. The owners are wonderful. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Missoula!
