Our beach is a beautiful sandy beach with gentle waves, relatively warm water, and no riptides to worry about.

A sit-on-top 2 person kayak is included. It's easy to use for beginners.
Listen to the shorebirds - the National Seashore is a protected area. Walk to Great Island at low tide, swim or kayak there at high tide. Collect shells, hike on marked trails, swim, relax. At night - listen to the waves.
The Little Neck is part of an 'olde Cape Cod' cottage colony known as the 'Sea Shells.' Walking distance to Wellfleet's seaside golf course. 1 mile to Wellfleet Pier & Mayo Beach. 5 miles to Wellfleet's big wave ocean beaches and their dramatic sandy cliffs. You can learn to surf there or bring your boogie board.
Little Neck cottage is a South facing 800+ square foot Cape Cod style 2 level home (1st and 2nd floors, no basement) with lots of windows, sliders, & decks. Full kitchen with full-sized appliances. Sleeps up to 5 people.
1st floor: Rear bedroom with queen bed. Front bedroom with 2 twin beds. Den with futon convertible. Full bathroom. Outdoor shower. Deck in back. Deck in front.
2nd floor: Open layout kitchen/living/dining area. Futon sofa convertible. Flat screen HD TV with DVD. Broadband wireless internet. Fully equipped kitchen. Full bathroom. Front deck with gas grill, table, chairs and a full view of the water.

Little Neck - A Cottage on Wellfleet Bay

The location could not be better - right on the beach, no packing required to spend a day on the Wellfleet bay. A kayak, life-vests, and floaties for the kids are conveniently included. The center of town is a one-mile stroll, and the town tennis courts are closer than that. The cottage itself is quite charming, though definitely no-frills, with no dishwasher and a shared washer-dryer. The vinyl floors became damp one day, after there had been a heavy rain the night before, followed by a very humid morning and afternoon. Both the owner and manager were readily available by phone and eager to quickly help with any issues that arose. All in all, we had a wonderful time there.
Recommended for:Families with young children.
