Why the Owner Chose Cadillac
Lake Mitchell is a wonderful, family friendly vacation spot all year round. In the summer time kids can swim all day long directly from the property beach. All water sports are easily available from the private dock and water-skiing is awesome. In the winter months the cottage is ideally located, close to well groomed and maintained snowmobile trails and also to Caberfae, a famous, family place for down hill skiing.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The views. You are surrounded by water around three of the four sides. Sunrise is beautiful directly over the lake and sunset is really enjoyable sitting out on the patio. You really feel like you are on a cruise boat, with water all around you........

We greatly enjoyed our visit to this wonderful house. The views are outstanding, and the home is fully equipped for every activity. A wonderful place for a family with all sorts of entertainment. The home was immaculate, and the location was very quiet and relaxing. We hope to go back again. We did daytrips to Traverse City which was a pleasant drive.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had 7 single adults sleep very comfortably in this beautiful house. The best part about this house is the openness you feel with the floor plan. The large windows also open up to the waterfront making the house even bigger. The house was well stocked and we lacked for nothing. It was immaculate upon arrival and was easy to live in. It is in a great location on Lake Mitchell and only 10 or so minutes to the cozy town of Cadillac. We would definitely look to rent this house again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
