  I had never rented a home for a vacation. I didn't really know what to expect. I was looking for space where my family could all go together but still have enough space where we would not be glad when the trip was over. This home with its four suites and central gathering spaces was exactly what I had hoped for and then some. We had all the amenities of home while on vacation. My family was able to interact in a way that would have not been possible at a hotel. It was casual and relaxing. The home is well maintained and you can tell the owner really cares and wants renters to enjoy their stay. The local property managers are great too. This home was amazing and the pictures don't really do it justice. There are tons of little extras that aren't even listed in the description. It has to be experienced to appreciate it. It is a great idea for four couples or a family. The owners really have provided a wonderful space to relax and enjoy Hawaii. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home or go back again myself.

  This was one of those properties in which the pictures did not do it the justice it deserved! The property exceeded all of our expectations and more! There were 10 of us traveling, 6 adults and 4 children ages 4, 5, 9, and 12. I and my mother in law are from the islands yet this was the first time we had rented a home. We usually go the hotel route. The house offered exactly what was described in appearance and ameneties. The sprawling home had more than enough room but also alot of privacy, since 3 of the rooms were their own separate quarters. The children spent all of their time in the pool and when offered to go to the beach or visit relatives to swim where they were staying, they declined! Why go anywhere else when you have one of the most gorgeous infinity pools I have ever seen right here in the back yard?! The media room kept the kids calm and relaxed at night with hundreds of movies to choose from. The large kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the family. We made breakfast each morning and barbequed dinners at the awesome outdoor kitchen. Kim was amazing at her communication with me as far as answering questions right away and making recommendations. I was impressed with how organized all of the instructions were on how to use everything in the house, especially the audio/visual. The shops at Mauna Lani and Foodland right down the street had everything we needed to help make our stay a success! You have to try the Kalbi korean marinated flank steak from Foodland on the grill, so ono!! Be sure to catch the free hula show and fire dancing you would see at an expensive luau at the Mauna Lani shops stage. Also on certain days they offer free hula and ukulele lessons as well! I would recommend staying at this gorgeous home to anyone who has a large group or family with kids. Our one Costco run proved to be efficient enough that we only went out to dinner once while staying there! We saved so much $ dining in and enjoying the beautiful nights at this home! We can't wait to return!

  I got married on the Big Island in January 2012 and this was my home for 10 days surrounding the ceremony. Words cannot express how perfect this home was for the most important week in my life. My experience was absolutely magical. Kim's home is luxurious, impressive, and comfortable. Each couple staying at the house had their very own villa. The grounds felt like our own private 5-star resort, between the courtyard with winding paths over koi ponds, outdoor kitchen complete with a grill and flat screen TV, and huge infinity pool that wrapped around the exterior of the property looking out over the golf course. I felt like a celebrity. The home is massive, especially when you open the glass window walls to create a completely open indoor/outdoor living space. The views of the mountainous landscape are breathtaking (especially in the morning when the sun rises over the volcano... I woke up every morning before sunrise to soak it in... you can't miss it!) It's an entertainers dream with multiple dining and lounging areas, yet perfect for relaxing days floating in the pool. It was a bonus to have a private beach just down the road with snorkeling, paddle boards, chaise lounge chairs, and a restaurant and bar. Plus, we loved the hiking trails throughout the Mauna Lani resort property. Finally, I feel so blessed to have had the pleasure of meeting Kim through the rental process. She is the most generous, accommodating, genuine, lovely person I have worked with. We've been vacationing in the Hawaiian Islands for 15 years, but we have no desire to stay anywhere else going forward.

  We were here over Spring Break with our son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons.This home was everything we had hoped for and more. The Favorites have thought of every detail. The view from this home is spectacular overlooking the golf course. Our grandsons loved the media room with every movie you could imagine in the video library. Everyone had their own bedroom with wide screen T.V.s. The kitchen was a dream kitchen. We spent many nights out on the patio with the built in grill. The beach club is only a couple of minutes away and the home comes with beach chairs, snorkle equipment, beach toys, beach towels. This is an ideal home for a family vacation and our family is already looking forward to returning. The Favorites are so wonderful to work with and so eager to please. Thank you Kim and Steve for your hospitality.

  We just booked our third trip back to this beautiful home and after many trips to Hawaii on different islands and resorts we have found our favorite paradise. The home has a very private feel and we love the pool and hot tub spa, there are plenty of pool toys and rafts to lounge the day away. We especially enjoyed opening up the window walls each day to create an authentic airy Hawaiian atmosphere. The koi pond and waterfall in the courtyard are georgous as are the grounds of this spacious property, we always had fresh limes from the trees! The theatre room was a hit if the kids wanted a break from the sun or a movie to at relax at night after a full day at the beach. Grilling in the outdoor kitchen became much more enjoyable than going out to eat. Kim and Steve have decorated the house in beautuful Hawaiian decor and really have thought of everything. I would not hesitate to recommend this house for single families or larger groups, it's so nice to "live" at this home on vacation!

  There were eight in our group and every single person praised this accomodation. The layout with individual unit bedrooms allowed some of the group (ironmen) to do their thing early in the morning without disturbing the others (ironmen groupies) who could enjoy breakfast overlooking the golf course and wild turkeys out for their morning stroll. In the afternoons and evenings we spent a lot of time around the pool and BBQ areas. This place had all the amenities you could wish for as described in other reviews. A few things not mentioned in other reviews include the ability to open up the entire kitchen/livingroom area to the outdoors by sliding back the full opening glass door walls, feeding and enjoying the coi in the large pond located in the inner court area, and the quiet peaceful atmosphere where you definitely have your own space. Also, if you are considering a helicopter tour, the early tours (7 and 9 am) always give you a better chance due to weather and this place is 5 minutes away from the Blue Hawaii base -- its a fantastic trip! The owners (Kim and Steve) and the manager (Judy) of this property are pleasant, accessible, very easy to deal with and handle all aspects of the rental (pre - during - post period) in a professional manner. I do not hesitate in recommending this place for anyone of any age as I am certain that you will be delighted with it from the day you arrive to the day you leave.

  My work team and I (including the chief marketing officer of one the largest financial services companies) were producing a very high end conference at the nearby Fairmont Orchid, the conference was so well attended that we found ourselves with an oversold hotel. What was needed was a place where four work colleagues could happily coexist for 10 days while immersed in the demanding work of producing a 500 person conference. Having produced conferences at top resorts all over the world we have high expectations of our accommodations. This home met and exceeded all of our expectations, the proof of which was that we all left thinking about coming back for a purely pleasure trip.

  We have rented houses all over the world and this one exceeded our expectations. Usually, when we travel there are 2 or 3 additional couples. We have to "draw straws" to see who gets which bedroom. In this house, every bedroom is great and each couple has there own personal space combined with a great indoor as well as outdoor common area for entertainment

  Kim- we have loved staying at your house so much, it looks like we will make this year our third in a row! It is so comfortable and it feels just like home. The place is very well appointed and your audio visual setup is fabulous. The kitchen is great and we really enjoyed cooking outside on the barbecue. Thanks so much for a great vacation!

$500 reservation fee within 7 days of making reservation. Goes toward $2000 damage deposit

half rent + applicable taxes 60 days prior to arrival date

2nd half rent + applicable taxes + balance of damage deposit one week prior to arrival date
