Our family really enjoyed their stay at this Cedar Mountain property. Spotlessly clean and spacious, we had room to relax and keep out of each other's way. While not a high end resort, it nevertheless has access to all the activities for families and for couples. And access to national parks and forests is just a short ride away. The village gave us opportunities for food, recreation, walking, some evening life, and an abundance of outdoor activities. Rentals for many activities are just across the street, as is good ice cream. The unit suited our needs and is clean, modern, and well-designed. Laundry facilities are in each unit. This is an excellent property for those who want to breath high mountain clean air and who want a central location to visit Bryce, Zion, and Cedar Breaks. Pleasant, smiling people were everywhere in the area to serve to our needs. Less well-known venues are abundant in the area for a variety of traveler interests. Good location for our family fun.

The condo was tastefully decorated throughout in mountain furnishings that made the ambience warm and friendly. Condo was clean and refreshing in appearance, and was centrally located with easy access to shops, food and gas etc. I would recommend this condo or stay here again.

This condo is located at about 8400’ altitude and the temperature ranged from 47F to 77 F during our 4-day stay in August. The building is new and the condo spacious and cheerful. The den is unfurnished and would be good for extra people with sleeping bags. The building, which has three condo rentals in the upper floor, is off a dirt road that is frequented by ATVs throughout the day. The entrances to the condos are off a small gravel parking lot in the rear, which also serves as the back “yard” and BBQ space for the three units. The fire pit in the small parking lot is a little too close to the cars in my opinion. Hwy #14 runs in front of the building and can be noisy during the day. The main street of Duck Creek Village is across the highway from the condos, and is dominated by a hodgepodge of real estate offices and ATV rental stores. Except the main street, all the roads in the village are dirt and used by people on ATVs, especially during the weekends. The roads and village become quiet after 8 pm at night. The general store in the village is adequate for basics. It took us 45 minutes along the scenic Hwy #14 to drive to Cedar City on a Sunday morning where there are numerous grocery stores and other outlets. Both Bryce and Zion are about one hour drive away – in opposite directions from Cedar City and each other. If they are the main attractions, I think it would be closer to stay in a location along Hwy #89. However, the condos are quite close to the truly spectacular, and uncongested, Cedar Breaks Monument, as well as to Navajo Lake – both at high elevations and relatively cool. I would rate the condo unit itself as a five star, but the location was too far from many of the places we wanted to see, and its surroundings were dusty and noisy during the day. Thus, the three star overall rating.

We stayed at this property for 7 days starting July 30th. We were very comfortable; the property is clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We visited Bryce National Park, Zion N.P. and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed the cool, mountain air and the beautiful scenic hikes and drives.

There were five of us (three adults, two older children) who stayed at this property for five days, and we had a wonderful experience. The condo was well appointed with just about anything that would be needed for either a short or extended stay. While the den is empty and could be used for storage for a smaller group, the owners thought ahead and have an air mattress that was quickly set up, as it is on an electric pump. Our kids felt like they were "camping out" to set up in there! The general store is just a few steps away and had a good selection of items for purchase if you're doing your own cooking during your stay. It was a help when we ran out of a few of our staples. Recommend shopping before you arrive though, and if you need items, Cedar City is about a half-hour away by car and has a variety of shopping locations and restaurants. From this location, we visited Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park (both were about an hour's drive) and even drove to Page, Arizona for a half day smooth-water rafting trip. The scenery is gorgeous and we enjoyed driving back every night through the spectacular vistas. Even with the five of us, there was plenty of space. The wireless internet was much appreciated and allowed us to connect and do our trip planning, and it was especially helpful to have a washer/dryer right there for the days when we all got a little dirty and needed to run a load of clothes. We would definitely recommend this location to anyone and if we are in the area in the future, would be pleased to request to stay here again.

This is a fabulous property and we felt at home the moment we walked in. The unit is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The location iwas perfect for our trips to Zion, North Rim Grand Canyon, Best Friends Animal sanctuary, Bryce Canyon and Cedar Breaks. Wish we would have stayed longer to explore the area more. Two items I would bring for the next visit. 1) A flashlight - It is difficult to find the unit in the dark and open the lockbox. 2). A foam mattress pad - We found the Mattress to be to hard for our comfort.

The condo was exactly as described, very clean and orderly. Good location for visits to parks and cooler in the evening after hot day in valley. Owners were very helpful with shopping tips and locations to parks. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Our week stay here was perfect. The condo suited our needs and was very charming. Our only complaint was we thought the condo was a little more secluded. However we did meet people across the street at Duck Village and thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them on several occassions. The owners were most accomodating and made our stay most enjoyable. You can't go wrong here!!!!!!!!! Driving distance to lots of national parks.

Our three-night stay in this beautiful mountain condo was enjoyable. Its proximity to both Zion and Bryce made for an easy drive each day through beautiful scenery to visit a park. The condo's accommodations were comfortable and clean. One suggestion: before you arrive in Duck Creek Village, buy the groceries you will need in a grocery store--do not plan on buying them upon arrival unless you want to pay, for example, almost $8.00 for a box of Cheerios at a local service station.

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon travels, and it was better than any hotel we were in! We felt like we were at home, but even better because it was just us! It was cold, cold outside with 6-8 feet of snow, but we stayed nice and cozy inside and even enjoyed a day in Bryce Canyon as well, which was nice to be so close! We'll definitely stay here again and haven't been able to stop talking about how perfect it was!!! Thanks again!

We truly enjoyed our trip; Utah is indeed God's country! Our condo was clean, spacious, convenient and comfortable. A great value. The Duck Creek area is convenient to Bryce and Zion as well as Cedar Breaks National Monument -- a park that is as awesome as Bryce, with astonishing scenery. It's close and FREE!

We loved our 5 nights at this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of storage space, and the bathroom was excellent! The washer and dryer were a great addition. The wi fi was excellent. We had already been to Zion, but from this apartment visited Bryce, Cedar Break, north Rim of the Grand Canyon, and spent some time just driving around the beautiful area. If you are ever there at lunch time, be sure to go to Biff's Bunkhouse BBQ across the street in Duck Creek Village. For $5., you get the best BBQ beef or pork sandwich. The only negative to the apartment is it lacks a dishwasher. Having to wash dishes on vacation is a real downer. That and a garbage disposal and the place would be perfect!

We are from Las Vegas and we were looking to get away for a long weekend. This property in Duck Creek was perfect. The property is located between Bryce and Zion and there were great fishing spots walking distance from the condo. The property was very clean and well appointed. My family asks when were going back all of the time.

Glad to see the note I left was entered in the reviews. Thank you Amanda! We had an absolutely lovely stay. After a long day of driving, hiking, exploring and playing tourist at the abundance of National Parks and Forest in the area, it was always a pleasure to come "home" to relax, cook a healthy meal, chill, and plan for our next day of fun. Clean, tasteful, comfortable and contemporary accommodations. Zion, Kolob Canyon, Red Rock, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, Caves, Petroglyphs - all within day adventure driving distance. We hope to return soon! The caretakers (owner's daughter and son-in-law) were delightful - glad we got to meet them.

My family visited Duck Creek Village in Utah this past summer 2010. We had never been before and we were looking for a place to stay that was close to Bryce NP. This VRBO was very reasonably priced and as described was both new and spacious. Perfect for a family of four: two big bedrooms were very spacious and the beds were nice and comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook our meals. The condo was located right across the street from the Duck Creek Village and there were restaurants walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised to be there during the annual Duck Creek Village Festival which was a really big event. We had no idea we were in the ATV capital of Utah! It was a site to see for us Floridans...everyone in town had an ATV and all weekend long it was ATV's everywhere. We didn't get to rent one because we needed a large one that would fit a family of four but they only had smaller ones for two people. Overall, it was a very unique experience we will never forgot and were close to Bryce Canyon NP and also Cedar Breaks National Monument which was absolutely breathtaking and doesn't get as much PR as the other larger parks. We saw some of the most beautiful landscapes, wildlife, and natural scenic beauty. We look forward to going back and this rental was a great place to stay!!!
