Palm tree landscaping provides privacy from the road and a large fenced backyard with a doggy door. There are two covered patios one in front and one in back of the home to enjoy with covered parking. The cottage is fully equipped providing a computer and internet with a Family Dollar you can walk too. The Kemah Cottage is located a few blocks from Galveston Bay, 5 min. to Kemah Boardwalk and 15 min. to Galveston Island and Moody Gardens. Why the Owner Chose Kemah
I purchased this home about 3 years ago from and architect that had purchased the home about 8 years prior to my purchase. The home had a small fire and the architect spent the 8 years restoring the home. This guy had great attention to detail and is an antique lover. Every where you look you will see interesting antique fixtures, with solid hardwood floors that came out of estate homes and ceiling beams though out the home. I fell in love with the home because it is so unique. Actually I purchased the home for myself and have lived in it the last 3 years. This is why the home is nicely furnished, well equipped and feels like home.

I grew up in North West Houston around 15 years ago and moved to the Kemah/Clearlake area never looking back. People seem to be more laid back and friendly in this area. The Kemah/Clearlake area is the 3 largest boating capita in the United States so if you enjoy power boating or sail boating this is a nice place to live. This area is also very popular with antique car collectors, motorcycle enthusiast and live entertainment at restaurants and bars. The list goes on and on of thing to see and do in this area.
