Wonderful vacation villa with privacy assured.

We had a great family vacation at Alexi. The owner was on the ball and responded to our inquiry right away. The villa was even better in person than the photos online. Very easy to get to, great parking, two steps into the villa and so so covenient. We were 5 mins from St. Jean beach, great for swimming and 5 mins to Gustavia for shopping and restaurants. There is small grocery in the village of Anse des Cayes which has fresh bread daily and a good supply of groceries. The villa was fully equipped down to beach chairs, umbrellas and coolers. Of course we had wifi, dish network tv too. Can't say enough about the location, we didn't have to go far to do anything. Try this villa I know you will love it.

It is a beautiful property and well decorated. It came with daily housekeeping but she only made the beds. The bathrooms were never cleaned, the sheets never changed, floors not swept,and the worst part was we got 1 thin bath towel per person and they were maybe cleaned twice. I do not think the 4 beach towels were every washed after we arrived. When we were leaving, the house keeper opened a locked closet with many large fluffy towels. Too bad we never had the chance to use one. Not having clean towels and not having clean bathrooms was unpleasant. The pool was not heated. We questioned the owner and he said it is solar heated. The pool was so cold we could not put our feet in it. It was sunny every day and the pool was freezing. There was some confusion on us needing the third bedroom, which the owner immediately fixed. Unfortunately, the room had a foul odor which they tried very hard to fix but it did not happen. The housekeeper never made that bed after the first day, I am not sure why. It is a beautiful house with an amazing view of the ocean.

Villa Alexi is truly is a special place with an outstanding combination of view, ambiance, the pool/patio layout and the privacy that is hard to find in a single villa on St Barts. The pictures provided by the owners are just as we found it. Restaurants, wonderful beaches and shopping are all within a short drive. Don't miss out on the local boulangerie's (the French breads and pastries are worth the trip alone). Villa Alexi is highly recommended.

This is our second stay at Villa Alexi and will not be our last. After visiting St Barts every year for 10 years in a row, we have stayed in many villas on the island. Alexi is well appointed and has everything you need - ocean views, total privacy, waves crashing, a well appointed kitchen, beach chairs etc. The villa is lovely and decorated with care, and is well maintained. The view is outstanding. This villa is well located, very easy to get to, close to town etc. The awning is a great addition this year, and we enjoyed the TV, iPod docking station etc. A great place to spend a vacation in St. Barts!

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, age 55+.

near the airport near gustavia the pool is a nice amenity after spending the day at the beach or outside full kitchen maid service daily definitely need to rent a car my only small complaint is that the satellite tv did not work in the living room and one of the master bedrooms. but overall, a great place!

I really have no idea how to truly explain our visit to St. Barth’s other than amazing. We were very apprehensive about renting a VRBO but contacted the owner, Byron, and he was very responsive, patient and you could tell he had been in the real estate business for a long time. He made recommendations and gave us advice on things to do and ways to enjoy our stay even more. The Villa was simply beautiful from the breathtaking views to all the amenities. It had just about everything needed to enjoy paradise. The grill was a great bonus because we would get fresh fish and grill for dinner. Why eat out every night when you can enjoy such a wonderful view. The location was perfect – it was especially close to town and the airport (everthing is close on the island). We really enjoyed because it was not high in the hills which I am sure many would enjoy but we had nice breezes at night coming off the ocean and could enjoy the sound of the pounding surf. Do yourself a favor and look no further if heading to St. Barth’s - the Villa was just magnificent and the owner was really accommodating. We cannot wait to return.

Villa Alexi was perfect for our trip to St. Barths. I have stayed at other Villas in St. Barths and this one is top notch. There is much more to be seen in the villa than what is provided in the pictures on the page. The place is amazingly furnished, it was definitely designed with love and care . The kitchen is fully stocked if you want to get adventurous when cooking (as we certainly did). And there is a huge grill outside to enjoy. The view is breathtaking, you will be waking up to the sound of waves. The location is a 5-10 minute drive from everything. The island isn't big so you can't go wrong. But there are plenty of beaches within walking distance from the villa, they are fun to explore. And for someone that appreciates a bit of technology and non-conventional entertainment on his vacation, I was pleasantly surprised by how up to date the visit was inside. IPOD dock sound systems and LCD's in every room connected to satellite TV for those quiet nights. There is also WIFI. It's worth every cent!

Zen Villa

Just returned from a lovely week at Villa Alexi. The house is gorgeous--filled with stunning Asian antiques collected by the owner. The main room is spacious and airy with a state of the art kitchen and stunning views of the ocean. Sun fills the back patio all day and we loved lounging in the infinity pool. The two air-conditioned main bedrooms are massive with walk-in closets/dressing room and bathrooms. It's located a super quick drive to Gustavia, St. Jean and several grocery stores (Marche-U right by the airport was good). We definitely recommend renting a car and the owner was helpful in setting us up with a good one. This is the best way to go beach hopping--we particularly loved Gouverneur and Saline beaches. I'm already wishing I was back!
