Couldn't have been better! A cozy feeling from the moment we entered. My husband and 4 children stayed here for 2 nights. Roomy, quiet, and very comfortable. Beautiful scenery and surroundings! Definately will be staying there again!

Amanda, we really enjoyed the condo! The national & state parks in the area are fabulous- great location. A bonus is the aspen & oak beginning spectacular fall colors! We appreciate the laundry facilities, great kitchen, charcoal grill, and inside/ outside fire options. Great stay & we hope to return!

We enjoyed our stay in the condo AKA "mountain cabin" ( LARGE) While we were here we visited the truly spectacular national parks- Zion & Bryce. The vistas in both places are at times breathtaking.

Well Appointed Condo/Pivotal Location

Guest: Bill & Jane Bloomington, Minn.
Date of Stay: 09/10/11 Review Submitted: 01/12/12

This condo was a great value and a pivotal location for the day trips to Zion , Bryce & the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We recommend the scenic highways ( HWY 14 & 12) and 148 & 143 to Parowan & Panguitch. Take the easy hike to Alpine pond after traveling to Brianhead and Cedar Breaks. Instead of the quicker freeway route to Zion NP, take 14 to 89 to 9 and enter the park from the East. Lots to do in this mountain hideaway of Duck Creek and this comfortable and well appointed condo.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

The perfect home away from home. We went to Zion, Bryce, Escalante, and Cedar Breaks. We also went to the Duck Creek Days Festival. Great family time hiking and enjoying the beautiful sites. Great ice cream place across the street! They also make a great sandwich at 9PM on a Monday night when everything around is closed.

Perfect, centrally located between Bryce and Zion.

So glad that we chose this condo. It was centrally located between Zion and Bryce. We almost stayed in Kanab but, glad we ended up here as it is so peaceful and serene. The condo had all the items that we needed to whip up breakfast and dinner. We would definitely recommend to others. Thanks for a memorable start to our vacation.

This is a great holiday base for seeing the National Parks and sights in the area - we visited, Bryce Canyon, Zion N.P., Cedar Breaks, Grand Staircase Escalante and other more local beauty spots. The spacious condo was clean, well equipped and had good quality furnishings. We appreciated the ceiling fans in the bedrooms and found the location really quiet for a good nights sleep. The village offered everything needed and the fresh home-made pizzas from the resturant were second-to-none. We would certainly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a central base amid great scenery.

Duck Creek Village Condo

Guest: L.C. (Glen, NH)
Date of Stay: 06/18/11 Review Submitted: 07/05/11

A really nice property. We were very comfortable here for a week, though it was kind of far from larger grocery stores and restaurants. We loved the cooler air at night for sleeping and hardly used the ceiling fans at all with the windows open! The unit was very clean and well appointed. Nice central location for visiting various national parks in the area. The traffic on route 14 goes pretty fast so you have to really watch out when pulling out of the access road. Also, everyone seems to travel on ATV's in this area so you really have to watch for them too. Would definitely recommend this property to others who would like to enjoy this part of southern Utah. L.C., Glen, NH

Duck Creek Condo

We enjoyed this clean, comfortable condo. Our family of 4 used this condo as a basecamp for exploring the many nearby scenic wonders. We visited, among others, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Grand Escalante Staircase and it was nice to come back to the same place every night. Amenities were a little sparse in Duck Creek, but groceries and shopping were available nearby. All in all, a nice place in beautiful area.

Fabulous condo in great location!

We recently had a wonderful holiday at this great condo in Duck Creek Village. We wanted a base to explore Bryce Canyon NP, Zion NP and Cedar Breaks NPs, but we also really enjoyed checking out the huge valleys of lava rock en route to Panguich Lake and Brian Head. Aspen Mirror lake is lovely and close, and we were a little disappointed not to be able to visit Cascade Falls at Navajo Lake due to the road be closed with snow (in June!). The cabin was super - clean, well equiped (even including basics such as laundry detergent, coffee filters, olive oil etc), really homely. The owner was friendly and helpful, and I would definitely recommend this cabin. Next time we stay here we'll have a go at ATVing!

Good Time

Date of Stay: 10/14/10 Review Submitted: 10/21/10

The condo was exactly what it said it was going to be. It looked just like the pictures. It was very clean and well maintained. It was a perfect fit for our family of 4. It was nice to have a home to come back to after visiting the different national parks. I loved being able to fix dinner, wash our clothes, and have some privacy. It felt like our own vacation house. The fire pit was fun for the kids. We would definately stay here again and I have recommended it to others. One suggestion, if you do stay here take the time to go to Navajo Lake and do the short trail to Cascade Falls, it was so beautiful!

Great base for Bryce and area

Guest: EthelSue (Chicago, Il)
Date of Stay: 10/09/10 Review Submitted: 02/13/11

We spent 5 nights in October in this condo while visiting Bryce National Park and other sites. We had spent 3 nights before near Zion National Park. However, you could use this as a base for both parks. The negative is you have to drive about 45 minutes at least to get to Bryce. But, we couldn't find any condo units near the park. We like to stay in a place for a while. From this unit, we spent two days visiting Bryce, one day driving two and from the north rim of the Grand Canyon, another day touring the general area...the little towns, the natural forest, etc. We visited Cedar Breaks. I thought it was a great location. The condo itself is perfect. It was incredibly clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Many of the shops in Duck Creek were closing at that time of year. We bought our groceries in Cedar City. If you are not determined to stay right near the national park, I urge you to consider this location.

Pick this one! I did and can't wait to return..

Grab the brass ring with this rare find! We were pleasantly surpirsed with the space, accomodations, cleanliness and fire pit too! Cozy and adorable Cabin decor, however, it lives like a timeshare, full size w/d, not that we used it for our too quick, 2 night stay.. Across the street is a fun cafe with great downhome service, not far is a lake to explore that is gorgeous! We couldn't have been happier! I hope to re visit soon! Many lakes to explore, we did a day trip to Bryce Cyn and that was a pretty drive and worth it since we were only going there once..
