What a wonderful time we had at this facility! The unit was clean and comfortable. It was nice to see the pictures before hand and find it to be just right for us. Very handy to have the well stocked store right downstairs. Also tidy, and friendly staff. We would recommend this property to anyone who would like to visit this beautiful part of your country. Not far from Bryce Canyon and also to Zion National Park very nice and interesting places to visit. Thank you very much, Bote and Martha Bouma Armstrong BC Canada

My husband & I stayed here for 4 nights while we visited Zion & Bryce Canyon National Parks. It was the perfect location. The studio was spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed having our dinner on the patio in the evening. Also the convenience store was the cleanest store I have seen. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The studio was very clean and quite well equipped. If one wanted to bring one item, I would recommend an electric fry pan, as there is no stove or oven. There are no large grocery stores or Walmart type of stores, so be sure to arrive with everything you will need for your stay. The property is conveniently located half way between Zion and Bryce. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place to a friend.

We were very pleased with almost everything about our three-night stay. The location was exactly what we wanted - midway between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, the apartment was cute and cozy and just right for the two of us (the futon made a great TV-viewing seat), the store was very handy and when a mix-up occurred when we first arrived, in answer to a phone call by the store clerk the owner quickly arrived and made things right immediately with apologies and good humor. The store clerks were friendly and helpful. It was certainly worth the money. The only drawback was the noise that occurred every night. We were not aware of noise during the morning and daytime hours but around store-closing time there was a major amount of banging and crashing that seemed to be right outside our door (possibly below us) lasting at least an hour or more. Not sure how that could be remedied but would have been helpful to have been forewarned and causes identified. Otherwise, we would have given our experience an "excellent".

Manager response: Thank you for your feed back! We are glad that you found our studio cute and cozy. We do state in our website that our studio is above our country store. There is necessary washing of things at closing time so there is a bit of noise at that time. We are perfectly located for those that are visiting Bryce, Zion and Cedar Breaks. If a bit of noise for about an hour in the evening won't bother you then you will certainly find our very clean King Bed studio a great home base for your hiking vacation. You've got all of the amenities (WI-FI, DIRECT TV, Kitchen, Fridge and Washer/Dryer) at a great rate! Parking right at the front is an added bonus.
We really enjoyed our stay at the studio. When we arrived, it was very clean and the staff at the store was very welcoming. It was the perfect location between Bryce and Zion. Not too far from the Grand Canyon either! At night, the place was very quiet and we could see a ton of stars since we were not in a big city. It was exactly what we wanted! It was very convenient having the gas station below. The staff was not only friendly, but helpful to us in our travels. I look forward to exploring more of Utah and staying here again.

Manager response: Thank you very much for your positive comments! We have moved the air conditioner to make the evenings enjoyable for our guests. So happy to hear that it is quiet and our darkness made for a fabulous star gazing experience. We too agree that this location is perfect if you are visiting Bryce and Zion. Great to hear that our staff in the store was helpful in your vacation adventures. We hope to hear from you in the near future! ~Amanda~
If you like the rather remote location, this unit would be OK EXCEPT for the noise. The refrigeration unit for the store below is located within a foot of the wall for the apartment. It ran 100% of the time for the two days that we were there and it literally rattled the pictured on the wall adjacent to it. It was nearly impossible to get a good nights sleep. Do not consider this unit unless the owners confirm that they have moved the compressor/condenser away from the building. The apartment was spotless and well equipped, but the noise gave it a zero rating in our book. We leave an apartment clean and tidy, so the jury is out on the cleaning fee.

Keep searching, or keep driving - whatever the case may be. The description of the studio is only partly accurate. They don't warn people about the NOISE from the store below, which starts early and ends late. Their massive A/C unit is right outside the studio door too. I contacted the owner to say that she really should have warned me about the noise and she said "it's a place of business, there's nothing I can do." The studio was not well-maintained for my 8-day stay; the basics either weren't here or ran out within 2 days. When I asked the contact person for the unit to replenish the basics (soap, toilet paper, etc) I was ignored. They asked for full payment upfront and I would never agree to that again. Once they have your money, what motivation is there to care about the quality of your stay? Yes, it's affordable, so maybe you think it'd be worth it to put up with the noise and lack of concern from the owners, but there are so many places in the area that don't charge much more, so I would recommend that you look elsewhere.

Manager response: This is the first bad review that we have had on one of our properties in 3 years. The renter was informed that the studio is above a gas station prior to arrival. In 3 years of renting I have never had a renter complain to me about noise from the A/C or customers in the store below. This renter e-mailed me complaining about the noise during her stay and unfortunately there was nothing that I could do to reduce the noise of customers talking below the studio in the store. We provide all renters with the basic necessities to get you started for your stay that include: toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, trash bags, and body soap. When this particular renter ran out of supplies she informed me through e-mail and I quickly responded and told her that it would be no problem to pick up more supplies from our store. If you are planning on peace and quiet during the day...you will hear a little noise from downstairs. However, If you are looking for a place to lay your head at night...this is a great location for a great price! ~Amanda~
We spent five nights at this studio in Sept. 2011. The location was very convenient to many of the well-known tourist attractions such as Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, Zion National Park, as well as some lesser known ones that we visited. The unit was very clean and new. The climate was controlled by the store, and therefore allowed some cooking odors from the the store into the unit. However, it was good value for the money, and if we were ever in the area again, we would definitely stay in this unit.

Manager response: Thank you for your feed back! The odors from the store are from the hamburgers that are grilled on the self serve grill in the store. If that smell bothers you, then this studio isn't for you. However, the grill isn't used until 11:30 am and it is shut off at 8:00 pm. We hope to hear from you in the near future. ~Amanda~
