Why the Owner Chose The Islander
We have been vacationing in Destin for the past 8 years, and when an opportunity to purchase this condo became available, we grabbed it, because it was next door to our good friends and neighbors. We love the Destin area, and have come to look upon it as our escape and our refuge.

We enjoy spending time with our good friends and neighbors in Destin. We love the tranquility of the beach, the peacefulness of the evenings, the beauty of the sunsets, and the joy of being able to share this pleasure with our children. We enjoy the joy of a pontoon ride with the dolphins jumping alongside. We relax here as we can nowhere else. To us, it is paradise.

Dave is a captain with American Airlines, flying international on the 777, out of Chicago O'Hare Airport. Ann is a mathematics instructor at McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, Illinois. We have 3 grown children, who are on their own, and doing very well. We look forward to enjoying our retirement, and providing a legacy to our children, so that they can enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the Destin area, as we have.
