Our beautiful carriage home is ideal for a multi-family holiday, or business group get-away. On the main floor is a formal living room and dining room with a back-to-back wood burning fireplace. The kitchen and family room are open and bright, with another wood-burning fireplace and dining table that seats ten. A 4-man hot tub and weight room is a favorite, with a treadmill, abs workout, and four station weights. There is a shower and half bath off the weight room. Back entrance is spacious, plenty of space for skis, clothes, with a laundry room, second frig and separate chest freezer. The house has a wrap-around deck on the main floor, sun room and outdoor deck which leads to the brook and garden, as well as a 40 by 20 in-ground swimming pool, heated. The back yard is fenced in entirely, great for the puppy to run around.
The second floor has a three-bedroom guest area with full bathroom plus another laundry room and half bath. There are two queen-sized beds and one twin bedroom, each equipped with its own towels and bedding. The master suite, also on the second floor, has a king bed, plenty of storage, a TV, cedar closet, walk-in closet and dressing area, plus a full bath with large shower, one sink and jacuzzi and a separate half bathroom. Also in the master suite is a sitting room with two chez lounges and a beautiful brook view. Off the master suite is a balcony.
On the third floor are two bedrooms, each with a king bed. There is a full bathroom with sky light and a separate half bath. The best feature is a full-sized pool table, plus another family room with TV, queen-sized pull-out bed for guest overflow. Another large balcony is on the third floor overlooking the beautiful Jay Branch brook.
This home is so spacious, there is a quiet corner for everyone. In early October the maples
along the brook are in magnificant color.

Why the Owner Chose Jay
Jay Peak is not a hectic location. It is a great get-away from a busy city. Our little village is quiet, the city of Newport is only 13 miles away and Burlington just over an hour. In the area one can ski, snowshoe, hike, ski-doo and in the summer, golf, swim in our pool, and just enjoy the sounds of the beautiful brook.
The Unique Benefits at this Family Home
Our home is located five minutes from Jay Peak ski and golf. There will soon be a new waterslide and ice skating arena on the peak. What a fun place for a family!
Take 89 North, to 105 East. Stay on 105 until you come to Cross Road. Home is on the right after Gendron Road.

We used to live in Montreal, Canada and Jay Peak is only 1.5 hours from the city. Our family loved to ski and fell in love with a carriage house, dated 1882. Because it is located beside the Jay Branch Brook, my husband, addicted to brooks, decided it would be wonderful to restore it to its present elegance. It was badly in need of restoration and the end result is a beautiful country home which we have enjoyed for almost 20 years. Our beautiful home has seen many parties enjoyed by family and friends
