We are a short one block walk to St. Charles Ave where all of the best Mardi Gras Parades roll. Our home is located in a quiet family neighborhood that's convenient to all transportation, most notably the St Charles Avenue Streetcar. Hop on the streetcar and it'll take you right to the center of all of the action, antiquing in the French Quarter, shopping, casinos and our beautiful Mississippi River Walk.
For more local sightseeing, you need go no further. Just stroll through the Garden District and you're strolling through one of the most architecturally important, well preserved historic neighborhoods in America.

Then after a tough day at the parades or antiquing and shopping, take a refreshing dip in the black bottom swimming pool or just relax in the hot tub before heading back out to enjoy the nightlife on Bourbon St.
To tempt your palate and at your request only, we also have a wonderful local gourmet chef available for small private dinner parties. When you send an inquiry, I'll include with my response several sample menus for your gastronomic delight! If this is something that interests you I can arrange, at your cost, an elegant dinner party for you and your guests. Our private chef will cook a five star meal and you can dine in the luxurious candlelit formal dining room in the Big House. Or you can dine more casually surrounded by the jasmine scented gardens outside under the stars.
I can also make all of the arrangements for a simple cocktail party for you and your guests to enjoy before you head out for an evening in The Big Easy!
