Year Purchased: 2009
Our family & another family who are close friends, went in together to purchase this amazing property. We wanted a place that was peaceful, with lots of things for loved ones to do together, get away from it all, relax, strengthen bonds, have a blast, & create lifelong memories. This cabin was also conveniently located just minutes from all the attractions that people come to the Gatlinburg area for. We, the Chronisters, have been married 20 years, & have an 11 year old daughter, Katelyn, that we home school. We live in Mooresville, NC. Our good friends, the Sissons, have 1 boy, Ben, & 3 girls, Javier, Anna, & Ariel, all of which are also home schooled. They live just minutes away from the cabin.
Why the Owner Chose Sevierville
We fell in love with this property because of the lake behind the cabin. We thought it would be a great destination for families, because it's only 15 minute drive to Dollywood, Splash Country, & just 25 minute drive to Gatlinburg, & all its attractions. It's easy to get to all of the attractions, but if they choose to stay at the cabin, there is something for everyone to do!
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
My husband & I love getting up early in the morning, & taking a tray with coffee & muffins on the porch, to enjoy the peaceful beauty, & listen to the birds sing. We didn't know that we loved fishing until we taught our daughter & her friends to fish in the lake! The picnic area is great, & the fire pit brought back childhood memories of sitting by the campfire roasting marshmallows! The kids can't get enough of the arcade games! The hot tub is especially nice on cool nights. You can even see the huge home theater screen from the hot tub! We all love this place, & we know that you will want to return year after year.

My family and I spent 5 days in this wonderful cabin last October, but, 5 days was not long enough! Living in Florida, there are no "leaves changing" , so the view from The Great Smoky Mtn. National Park was breath-taking! We ate at The Apple Barn (a MUST!) and shopping in Gatlinburg. The cabin was perfect with 5 kids! I can't wait to go back again! Anyone considering renting this cabin will not be disappointed!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The cabin was wonderful just as the pictures show. My extended family had a very enjoyable time in this cabin. For us we wanted a cabin that would entertain us without us having to leave it. This cabin completely filled that request. We only left to go to Deer Farm to take a horse trail ride. (This is only a 1/4 mile past the cabin, very close) We definitely look forward to using the cabin in the future. And we truly appreciate the owners as they were wonderful to work with. God bless!
