We've had a wonderful time, a beautiful and a great place for a vacation. The mobile home was very nice, clean and comfortable, supplied with everything you'll need for your vacation. Will recommend this great place for our family and friends. We are looking forward next year to stay here again. Thank you for having us. Eva and Vince

A functional and clean place for enjoying Lake Chelan

This is a great spot if you're focused on enjoying the outdoors around Lake Chelan. It's a trailer -- space is tight, so set your expectations accordingly (small kitchenette, narrow walkways, etc.). The property itself, though, is hard to beat. It has a good amount of beachfront on the lake itself, along with a dock and boat lift. (When we stayed -- April 2010 -- the lake level was too low for the lift to work, but this was the case for all the neighbors, too; search "Lake Chelan Lake Levels" if this is a concern for you.) There are two decks -- a large one up above, near the trailer, and a lower one near the dock. The larger one is next to a barbecue and fire pit and can be a good spot to entertain; the lower one is useful for watching the kids while swimming. Furnishings are basic; we found the bed to be a bit uncomfortable, but everything else was satisfactory. Linens, towels, and soap were all ready for us to use. The unit itself clean and well kept, and the property manager (Bonnie) did an excellent job staying on top of things and making sure we were taken care of. (We had one issue with the water main leaking after we used the washer, but Bonnie got a maintenance team out to us within a couple hours.) The washer and dryer are a nice plus, especially if you're going on hikes, bike rides, or swimming, or have kids. The location is somewhat remote; it's on the outskirts of Manson, at the bottom of a steep hill surrounded by orchards. This is either a plus or minus depending on what you're looking for. Groceries and basic stores are about 10 minutes away in Manson. If you want more restaurant/entertainment choices, Chelan is 20-30 minutes away. (For us, it was exactly what we were hoping for; we cooked all our meals there and went on picnics.) I would certainly consider this rental again. The main downside is the small size -- it was a bit of a juggle getting our 10 month-old's naps going -- but the location is hard to beat.
Owner response:There will be a new bed in May 2010.
