This vacation condo features a large and inviting living area with 15 foot sliding glass doors overlooking the Gulf. These doors exit to a large private patio, which offers both an impressive view of the water (free from obstruction) and the sound of the waves hitting the beach. You can even see the waves rolling in from the sofa!
Destin beaches are rated in the top ten in the world and often quoted as the best beaches in the South. Sterling Sands is a wonderful community with a great family friendly atmosphere. It features a seasonally heated Gulf front pool, outdoor spa and fitness center. The beach area is large and gorgeous, with water activities located nearby. We picked Destin because we were coming from Michigan and this was one of the closest cities on the gulf. I worried about the weather not being warm enough in April but it was just wonderful, never too hot or humid, but definitely warm enough to go on the beach or swim at the pool This condo is in a great location near all restaurants and shops. We were able to walk across the street for souvenir shopping and The Track for the kids. Besides the perfect view of the gulf, the condo was just as pictured, clean and comfortable for our family of five. We would certainly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a relaxing time by the pool or beach, but yet there's plenty of things to do if you want to. We drove to Harborwalk by Emerald Grand (just a ten minute drive) after talking to person who lived at Sterling Sands year-round. He recommended dinner at Lucky Snapper which was great! We loved taking the Dolphin Cruise first which was right next to the restaurant. Thank you Jenny for answering all my questions and concerns! You have a wonderful place in a great location! We hope to be back!
