We rented this lakehouse for the month of July, 2011. We had a wonderful time swimming, boating, fishing, shopping..............................our whole family was able to be together for 2 weeks out of the month and we had plenty of room for 10 of us. Nice 4 bedrooms, 4 baths with showers in each, huge dinning room and living room. Excellent rental property and the neighbors are wonderful too. Enjoyed meeting the owners and will rent from them again next year.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Perfect. That is really all I can say. We have been going to Burt Lake for years (since I was a kid) and this is the best place we have stayed. There are FOUR clean updated working bathrooms, FOUR nice bedrooms, a great room, large table for family meals, laundry facitlies (key for my crowd) and a gorgeous front yard. The lake itself is spectacular, you can walk forever in front of the cottage and it is crystal clear. Fishing is fun, you can even see the fish ignoring your bait! My son will tell you that is only fun for a little while:) My parents came with us and we had a great time. Actually this year the weather was very cold and rainy but this cottage is so spacious everyone was able to enjoy quality time together but also to retreat somewhere else for some quiet. We liked it so well we have rented again for next year!

Beautiful, spacious, immaculate log cabin cottage. Great fire pit to enjoy. The sunsets are phenomenal and the water so clean to swim. Great restaurants and shopping near by. Close to visit Petoski and Machinaw and return to the cabin by evening. Great place to create everlasting family and friends memories to cherish.

Hi! We stayed at this spacious cabin for a week and the same one next year for two weeks! It was great--on the water, firepit, privacy, dock, rowboat, fully equipped kitchen, easy access from the expressway and great shopping!
