Why the Owner Chose Pahoa
We chose to invest in Pahoa, because we see the potential in this quaint little village. We own a restaurant (Boogie Woogie Pizza)just a couple of blocks up the road. It felt ideal to have an inn as well as a restaurant. They compliment one another well. Because we love Pahoa village and are a part of the community, we contribute in a small way, by having reasonably priced rentals. This attracts visitors to our village where our guests are able to experience a taste of true Hawaii.
The Unique Benefits at this Tri-Plex Home
Our suites are on 1 acre of land, it is very botanical with some fruit trees. Guests are welcomed to pick fruits in season. There is a free "state of the art" Olympic stretch swimming pool just caddy corner from our suites, they also have a beautiful mushroom waterfall pool for the children. We are actually located on restaurant row with a number of authentic ethnic restaurants to choose from, all in walking distance.

Aloha, My name is Ophelia and I am the owner of Island Paradise Inn. My son Steven and I operate the units and trust me it's a full time job and we love it. I really enjoy people, they say I am a people person. We get to meet with people from all over the world and enjoy their company and actually get paid for it. Every aspect of the inn are things that we love to do. From the yard work to remodeling the suites to checking people in and out and making sure that they are settled in and comfortable, if I come across something I don't like to do, I just pass it on to my son, Steven to do (that's a mom's prerogative).
