Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2009
My wife Brigitte and I met three+ years ago in San Diego and are now the proud parents of 1-year old twins! Needless to say we have our hands full and don't have time for much else! When we do get a break, we enjoy playing tennis and frolicking at many of San Diego's fine beaches, notably La Jolla Shores!
Why the Owner Chose La Jolla Shores
Very simply, La Jolla Shores is one of Southern California's most desirable locations, known for its expansive beach with good waves for swimming, boogey-boarding, surfing and body-surfing. The area is very kid-friendly as well, with a large playground and park for picnics and games. It is a very "resort" atmosphere with great restaurants and shopping. The surrounding area is visually stunning, with Black's Beach, Scripps Institute of Oceanography, and downtown La Jolla featuring world-famous La Jolla Cove all within walking distance. Sea World and the San Diego Zoo are a 20-minute drive.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our vacation home is a four-block walk to the shops, restaurants and beaches of La Jolla Shores. The La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club is just 2 blocks away, which has a private beach, executive golf course (open to public) and has hosted Davis Cup tennis matches in the past. It's easy to walk, grab a bike or surfboard and spend a care-free day in this incredible atmosphere!
