St. Andrews is located at the entrance to Palmetto Dunes half way between the great beach and famous Shelter Cove Marina with all it’s shops and amenities. St. Andrews is located on the edge of the George Fazio Golf Course and has a great pool complex to relax between bike riding, checking out the surf on the beach and relaxing at the great attractions in Shelter Cove. Bikes are a great way to get around, but the “Dunes Buggy” will pick you up and give you a ride to wherever you want to go in Palmetto Dunes.
The Villa is very private with a small patio that has privacy to relax and talk about the exploring done during the day. The full kitchen allows you to stay home and enjoy the peace and quiet, or you can go out and enjoy the many restaurants close by.
The villa sleeps four with a king bed and a sleeper sofa. The open great room and flat screen LED TV will keep you entertained while you are in the villa.

This was our first time in HH. Many friends had raved over this destination so we decided to find out what was so special about HH. The positives: The condo is decorated very nicely. It has new appliances. Negatives: There was a weird skunk-like smell the entire week we were there and suspect mold, due to allergies. We were awakened by unruly tenants upstairs and police involvement.. The blinds don't cover all of the windows so you don't feel secure.The carpet was very dirty.It's NOT within walking distance to the beach if you are carrying chairs, cooler, etc. and there isn't ample parking so you have to take/get picked up by a van. We left 2 days early.We won't be returning and did not feel safe here.
Owner response:I apologize for your disappointment with our condo. The carpet was replaced less than 2 months ago, but we will look into having it professionally cleaned. I appreciate your comments about the blinds and we are in the process of replacing the ones that are broken. I am sorry that the neighbors were unruly, but I don't have any control over the weekly occupants. Palmetto Dunes has always had a reputation for being a very safe area and I have been reassured that this was an isolated incident.

My wife and I had our first getaway without kids in eight years and we loved our stay. The owner was very easy to deal with and the villa was very nice. Everything we like about palmetto dunes in Hilton head was just an easy bike ride away.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.
