The house includes a full kitchen and dining area, a living room, dining room, den (with sofa bed) and a fun room equiped with bumper pool and a gaming table upstairs. A large, private yard with patio. There are TV's in the kitchen, the den and the fun room. All with cable. The garage can fit one car. The house is on a private driveway and plenty of additional parking is available.
Walking distance from several restaurants and clubs; Piatti's, La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, The Marine Room, Starbucks, The Lodge at LJ Shores. Stock up with all of the necessities at the La Jolla Shores Market which is steps away. Downtown La Jolla with its myriad of boutiques, restaurants, galleries, and the Museum of Contemporary Art is less than a 15 minute walk or just seconds by car.
World famous La Jolla shores is just three blocks from the house. This beautiful white sand beach stretches for miles from the Cove through Blacks Beach all the way to Del Mar. It is patrolled by lifeguards and inviting for year-around swimming, boarding, surfing, kayaking, scuba diving and snorkeling. If you want a break from the water, the renowned San Diego Zoo or the Wild Animal Park are both less than a half hour away. There is also Sea World and Lego Land close by. And, Torrey Pines Golf Course is less than 3 miles from the house.

This house is very charming and the location is great! We stayed here with three boys(children and a teenager), and we were all very happy with it! Being able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops worked out perfect for our family. The boys really liked riding the beach cruisers (they have available in the garage) into town. My husband and I especially enjoyed spending time in the quaint backyard, and the boys liked hanging out in the upstairs playroom/loft. Everyone liked it so much that we all agreed to rent this house again this summer. I can't wait!!!!
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This house turned out to be just as advertised. It was perfect for our small family. There was plenty of room for us to have our daughter (who is attending UCSD) and a couple of her friends over for dinner. The master bath was great. The dishwasher needed updating but it worked fine. We were there during some cooler weather and loved sitting in the sheltered backyard on days when the beach got windy. We also appreciated the garage and easy driveway or street parking.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.
