Larry from Las Vegas. I have to say that Lynne is the best hostess that you could ever want. She has you covered with fresh flowers in every room. She gives you accurate directions from the rental car company to the house. She tells you where to go food shopping. She keeps you informed through the whole process from day 1 until you leave for back home. We couldn't have asked for better. The house was awesome! You'll fall in love with the observation deck. It was our "perch" to sit back and watch the world go by. Nothing was forgotten. Binoculars to watch the surf, a nice, large BBQ on the patio that will save you money from eating out and of course a fully equipped kitchen so that you can cook what you want when you want. It's all there! We loved it! Across the street is your own private beach but you may have to wait for low tide to sit in the sand. 1 mile to the left is a large sandy beach. 1 mile to the right is a state park on the beach. You really couldn't be in a better location. If you don't want to be in the "tourist trap" and pay for a prepared meal 3 times a day times the number in your party = saves you some major bucks! You need to check out the Kaaasa Liona. The "Crouching Lion" mountain in back of the house is awesome! Grab a chair and have some Kona in front of this magnificent landmark. The ocean in front of the house is very cool. Constant waves on the reef. The reef is out there a ways but you can walk out to it! Is that sweet or what?

When I travel, I like to know the ins and outs of how to do things EASILY; rather than having to search for it all, myself. I was happy to be of assistance! You mentioned the observation deck/sunroom - that room is ALWAYS everyone's favorite spot to read the paper, or sit back and enjoy the ocean view. Relaxing, is what Kaaasa Liona is all about. Yes, we are nestled between (just over the hill from) Honolulu/Waikiki and all the great beaches of the North Shore--close to many wonderful places to enjoy on the less hectic side of the island. I'm glad you agree Kaaasa Liona is the right spot to be! We spent 10 days in this lovely home. From the minute we walked in we knew we would feel right at home in Oahu. The house has everything you might need, no details have been forgotten. We were able to grill out, watch and listen to the ocean waves from a fantastic porch and had all the gear we needed for beach visits. We did not have to purchase anything in order to go to the beaches, nor did we need to pack beach towels, it was all there. Very clean, with computer, flat screen, DVR, everything. I would stay there again and again. I can't wait to go back home to Kaaasa Liona on our next visit to Oahu! Also, it was an easy and pleasant experience working with the very caring owners!

Amazing House - Great Location

We got married up the road and our family stayed at Kaaasa Liona. They loved every minute of their stay - the house has amazing personality and its location across the street from the water is the reason you go to Hawaii in the first place. We will definitely be coming back to Kaaasa Liona - its our family's new home away from home!

I had a wonderful time at the house. The property was perfect and I could not have asked for a better location! My only complaint was that I couldn't stay longer! I will definitely stay there again when I visit the island of Oahu. I will recommend the house ta all my friends and family that seek lodging in Oahu for any reason! Absolutely perfect Hawaiian getaway home! The home is very well kept, very comfortable, accommodating and very tranquil! Gorgeous ocean views are right across the street! Walking distance to an excellent restaurant (Croutching Lion), however having the amenities of being "at home" and able to eat "at home" is very convenient and cost effective! There is a guide book they have provided to help visitors pick places to visit and eat that is incredibly helpful as well! Being that the home is located on the scenic and peaceful North Shore, it makes for the perfect place to stay in O'ahu! I would most definitely chose to vacation and stay at this home again!
