porch and walkway were not shoveled upon arrival. hottub and fireplaces did not work. owners kept my desposit for smoking in the house. no where in my agreement was it stated that i was not allowed to do so.
Owner response:For the health and enjoyment of our renter’s and their families, we maintain a no smoking and no pets’ policy. This policy is clearly listed on our VRBO landing page for the property as well as in the lease agreement that is sent to the renter. This renter chose to either not read those items or to ignore them. In addition, we have the telephone numbers and contact information for the owners as well as for the companies servicing our property in the event that there is an issue upon the renter’s arrival. No one received a call from this renter about the hot tub or fireplace not working. We make every attempt to assure our renters have an enjoyable and safe stay and that the property’s amenities are performing as advertised. We have an excellent history with several of the service providers in the Deep Creek Lake areas to assist our renter’s with their needs.

Beautiful home, great location, very nice neighborhood! Stayed over New Years (after a snowstorm, driveway shoveled, walk cleared for us upon arrival). Home was exactly as described...even better. So clean, well organized, things labeled, linens provided (nice towels and sheets : ). Plenty of space for the 6 of us...loved the fireplace in the living room...heated the house nicely! Spacious bathrooms, very well stocked kitchen. Loved Traders Coffee House, which was so close to the house, The Pine Lodge was a wonderful place for dinner, as was the Santa Fe Grill...this home was centrally located, which made getting around very easy. And tubing at Wisp is a must!!! Would love to return in the summer!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This home is very roomy and a great place to relax for family and/or friends. We really enjoyed the game room and the campfire in the evenings. We will definitely try to book this house again the next time we visit the Deep Creek area!
Recommended for:Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
