Nicely re-done older Pacific Grove home. Minutes away from the Aquarium, Pebble Beach, Cannery Row. A little tight for our big group, the ad said that the rooms held King and Queen size beds, but in fact they were Queens and doubles. The house was clean and well kept. The furniture in the family room is less than comfortbale, so plan on being out and about most of your days and then crashing in your room at night. All together, a cut eplace. We might stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

all the great things said above--i cannot add anything to the above. BUT--we spent a long time in kitchen trying to get coffee maker to work. subsequently discovered that only above-the-drainboard outlet that was hot was one just to right of stovetop.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Title says it all. We were blown away at hoe well decorated and maintained this home is. I recommend it to anyone who appreciates good style, comfort and peace and quiet. Also a great jumping off spot for the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The manager even provided us with free passes.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I thought this was a great place to stay for a June weekend. We were here for two nights. I found the place to be clean, quiet, with very luxurious furnishings (including lots of heavy dark wood). Terry and her staff was very helpful and had left a binder full of information about Monterey and the surrounding area. The only caveat about this place was that there was only half a roll of toilet paper in the entire house. I wish that we had been notified earlier to bring our own, because we had to go out and buy it. So if you're planning on renting here, bring your own toilet paper!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway.

Please post this review of our stay at your PG House if you would like to. And I forgot to thank you for providing the crib and feather free room. These were much appreciated. Our family stayed at the Pacific Grove house for five nights and loved it. The house is very comfortable with all the best appliances and furnishings. The decorating is well done and beautiful. Everything is up to date. We particularly enjoyed the nice patio and BBQ grill. Terry and his team were great hosts, very professional and easy to work with. The location is convenient to both Monterey and Carmel as well as the very nice downtown and parks by the ocean in Pacific Grove. We would recommend The Works coffee shop and First Awakenings for breakfast in PG. And Monterey's Fish House for dinner. This is a great place that we will try to stay at again when we visit this area. Dennis from Kansas CityDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I would highly recommend this house. It was very comfortable and very well furnished. The kitchen is well stocked and there is an adorable outdoor patio. There was 3 bedrooms all with queen size beds. The master is on the second floor. The master bath is beautiful with a jacuzzi tub. The owner was very available. The house is a good jog from the ocean. If you are visiting the 17 mile drive or golfing in the area, this is a good choice. The town of Pacific Grove is great and the restaurants are wonderful.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

We rented this home to attend the US Open at Pebble Beach. We could not have been more happy with our stay here. They really did a superb job with the remodel. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is great with a nice big sink and modern appliances, a new HD tv in the living room, new fixtures, the backyard is perfect for a BBQ (which we did) with great seating, plenty of closet space, easily accessible and labeled linens, overall just a well laid out and decorated house. On top of the house, the location is perfect. It is walking distance to downtown Pacific Grove, the Aquarium, downtown Monterey (a bit longer of a walk). With this accessibility comes numerous restaurant choices, Starbuck's, grocery stores, convenience stores. We found great places to have breakfast. For those going to the Aquarium, it's a perfect location because it's close enough to walk to but not in the thick of all the tourist destinations, so you can find parking easily. For golfers, since we were attending the US Open, it's close to 17mile drive and Pebble Beach/Spanish Bay/Spyglass. It was easy to get cabs to come to the house or we could have walked to numerous shuttle locations in order to get to the US Open. We actually reserved the home approximately 6 months before our rental time and the owner was very communicative and responsive in the time leading up to our rental dates and during our stay. The owner was genuinely concerned with our experience and made sure that we had a great, stress free time. My friends who made up our group gave me great and continual accolades on finding such a great place with a great location. This place was as described, I would definitely consider staying here again and can see staying here for more than just four nights, you won't be disappointed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
