This was my fifth time at this location and what a surprise to see a new kitchen and matching bathroom cabinet and counter top. Of course, the location is absolutely perfect for relaxing and the renos have added to my enjoyment of this trip. All new appliances, granite countertop and a very open space give this condo a very upscale feel. Being on the ground floor with easy access to the pool, BBQ and ocean is delightful. No waiting for an elevator or walking up stairs especially when using the outdoor BBQ. I can't wait to get back. The property was exceptionally clean and the owner was very helpful in answering any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this property to others. The online photos gave an accurate depiction of the property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The beautiful surroundings are unmatched in the Kihei area! The unit is constantly upgraded by the owners. A new boardwalk to Keawakapu beach greeted us on our 4th visit. A pleasant surprise! The surfside management works hard to make the stay enjoyable. A stay at the 108 is like having a home away from home.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway.

The location is amazing, even better than in the photos. The condo was exceptionally clean and well presented. The kitchen has what looked like new cutlery, dishes and baking items as well as ample food storage containers. A health food store is just a 15 minute walk or a few minute drive away and there are a lot of restaurants and shops close by. The owner was very helpful with any questions we had, a very quick polite response. I have already recommended this property to others it is a real gem, one of very few actually on the beach. There are excellent restaurants (5 Palms and Sorento's) within a 2 or 3 minute walk and more about 15 minutes away. The beach is the best I've seen and we come from an oceanside community.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Very nice property and friendly helpful staff. Clean, comfortable bed, really nice to be on ground floor to walk out to grassy area to play games, lounge in the sun and BBQ. No air condition but the ceiling fans helped. Portable fan in bedroom broken. Only complaint is being so close to the elevator that at night when trying to sleep easily woken by people talking outside of bedroom. Room has a safe to lock up valuables - this was great ! Snorkeling was GREAT right out front and short walk to sandy beach. Would definately recommend property and stay there again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: The Kihei Surfside does not have air conditioning in the entire building as the trade winds and ceiling fans provide a comfortable temperature. The bedroom fan has been replaced.

I don't think the location can get any better than this! This unit is so close to the pool, that I was able to have my child sleeping with the baby monitor next to my chair at the pool! Especially like the ground-unit with children. Very short walk on path to Keawakapu Beach, which is amazing. Lunch at the Mana Kai is delicious. Right on the main strip of Kihei so easy access to other beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The only issue with our family was that this unit does not have a bath tub...only a shower. I probably should have asked, as I have very small children. But, it all worked out! Hoping to book another stay at this condo next June. :-)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We loved staying here at Kihei Sufrside, unit 108. We have two young children, 6 and 8 years who slept on the pull out bed, and it was just perfect for them. The unit was supplied with everything we needed to cook meals in our unit. Our favorite part about this unit is being able to walk straight out of our room onto the large lawn. The kids would wake up in the morning and run outside immediately. The beach is off to the left of the building (if you are facing the ocean). It is so nice to be able to run back to the unit if we want a snack or a drink while we are relaxing on the beach. We saw turtles in the ocean right in front of our building, you must walk across the large grass area and onto the volcanic rock, to the right of this unit (if you are facing the ocean). The turtles come out at 6 pm and feed on the rocks right there!! So cute to see there heads pop out of the water!! The pool is so warm. The people that work there are so nice! Thanks for the memories!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We love Kihei because this weather is consistently great whereas other parts of the island can have more cloud and rain. Surfside is the perfect place for us for so many reasons...the 1 acre lawn is ideal for walking, soccer, croquet, etc. The pool is 20 steps from our patio, the snorkeling and beach are both A+, and the best golf on the island is 10 minutes away. I can't think of a better place to stay and our kids want to keep going back year after year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have been 3 times and had a wonderful time, each time better than the last one. The location on the ground floor with instant access to the pool, BBQ, Shuffle Board and putting green is a real plus. The beach is fantastic. The unit is clean and very well decorated. Our experience at this condo was just what we were looking for as a family with 2 kids ages 8 and 11. We felt safe to let the kids roam the grass areas where they made quick friends. Being on the ground level made all the difference in allowing our kids freedom to come and go. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it was great to have a huge selection of movies in the office so we didn't have to go out to rent any. The laundry facilities were convenient and clean. There is a small convenince store closeby for last minute purchases of BBQ sauce, sunscreen etc. There is a yoga facility within a short walking distance as well. The beach was never crowded and one can walk all the way down through Wailea going south and there is a footpath going North quite a ways as well for walks or a jog. The condo itself was clean, well maintained and provided everything we needed for a great holiday! We've already booked again for next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This groundfloor, oceanfront condo is the best location in South Kihei with a beautiful lawn, shuffleboard, mini-golf, pool and white, sandy beach all just steps away. Kayak and paddle board rentals as well as great restaurants are all walking distance.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A+++ The suite is clean, has an excellent layout, terrific TV, and a big bonus is the internet and telephone are free. You walk right out the patio door to a incredible 1 acre manicured lawn with palm trees, a putting green, shuffleboard, a pool, and BBQ's. A 1 minute walk around the corner is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island as well as incredible snorkeling. Every day we swam with turtles, saw hundreds of fish, and once swam with a manta ray. The golf nearby is incredible. Wailea Gold, Emerald, and Makena North are among the best anywhere. We've been back twice and are going again next year. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

For someone who has tried various Hawaiian locations this is one to come back to again and again. Keawakapu beach, steps away, is a huge draw for anyone who likes to swim in the ocean. The condo is best suited for a couple who can appreciate the comfortable bed, tile floors, well appointed kitchen and access to the lawn in front. Quietness comes from being away from busy roads. The landscaping adds to the restful atmosphere.Free phone and internet is a plus! The property is as much or more than the advertizing claimed.Recommended for: Age 55+

There is an endless amount of fun and good times to be had, if you choose to stay in this remarkable condo. The location is phenomenal. The pool, shuffle board mat, mini golf green, and magnificent lawn are all just outside the door.
