Cottage on Park-Like Setting with Stone Castle and Pond
- Minimum stay:N/A

Enjoy a just renovated and furnished, one bedroom, Non-Smoking, guest cottage, in an enchanting and quiet area: behind a stone castle, in a very pretty two and a half park-like setting with a large swimming pond. You would have access to a very large swimming pool and the large wooden decks of the main house; a peaceful haven surrounded with a generous and lush nature.
The bedroom and living room are furnished and entirely covered with a marvelous new marble floor. The kitchen and the bathroom have also just been renovated. Large driveway, plenty of parking. Also a locked shed house available for storage of bikes and ski equipment, etc.
It is 120 miles from Midtown Manhattan a pleasant and easy drive and only four miles from downtown Hudson, and you have an easy access to Taconic Parkway and train station.

The cottage was very comfortable and the owner was very helpful with our needs. The deck and pool were a great place to relax and the house is close to so much to see and do. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking to get away from it all.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Very cozy, very clean, comfortable bed!. Small, but perfect for a couple wanting to explore some beautiful parts of New York State. MUCH better than a motel room. Owner is very accomodating and easy to work with. We were there in March 2011 and couldn't make use of the pool, but patio and pool area looked very inviting. Would recommend. Close to 4 different ski areas, Great Barrington MA, Stockbridge MA, Hudson, NY - lots of good sightseeing and shopping. Hudson River for boaters or fishermen, would be perfect for a stripper enthusiast during April.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
