After renting guest rooms in our home, we decided to create another vacation rental opportunity for visitors that needed more space to spread out and a kitchen for food preparation. This home is nicely appointed with wood flooring and tasteful furnishings. Your "basics" are supplied. A lovely modernized kitchen has a granite counter top and nice appliances so you can "eat in". The skylights make for a sunny breakfast gathering.
The location of this house is ideal for access to any part of Boulder. It is on the bus line, if you prefer to drive and it is 1/2 block from the Folsom bike path...head South to Folsom Field (home of the Colorado Buffaloes). The back yard is quiet and nicely groomed for privacy.
Enjoy my record collection for going "down memory lane" with oldies but goodies. Games are also on hand for nighttime entertainment with family or friends. A small CD player is available for your use as well.
We are constantly adding amenities...be sure to ask what is new. Currently we have the basics to make you comfortable. The home was decorated by a "Design on a Dime" Winner. Let us know if you have any special requirements and we will try to make that work out.

Why the Owner Chose Boulder
The house you will be living in will eventually be occupied by ourselves. Currently, Ed and I live only a few blocks away. We also rent rooms in the upstairs of our home. We have had so much fun renting these rooms, that we decided to try renting our long-term rental as a vacation rental instead.

I moved to Boulder in 1979 from New Jersey. I married a Boulder native in 1987 so that I would never have to move from here. We LOVE Boulder, Colorado. Our two kids are now living on their own and we now make "ends meet" with our vacation rental properties. We also have guest rooms in the the house that we live in. Ed is the principal of a school and I own an alterations business in town.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for about 5 nights while looking for a place to live. It is a great location walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, liquor store (with great wine selection) and much more. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating, could not have asked for a better place or people to rent from! The house is very clean and stocked with cookware to save money from going out for every meal. I highly recommend this property- a great escape!

The house is a great size for a family gathering as we were celebrating my son's graduation. It is convenient to any shopping needs and to CU campus and Pearl St. I would recommend it.

We stayed here for my sister's graduation and the house was perfect. Centrally located near campus and walking distance from a Safeway and other essential shops. The house itself was very nice. We had three adults and two children and it was the perfect size. The backyard is big and great for barbequing, with views of the mountains. We didn't use the hot tub, but I could imagine that on a snowy night it would be a perfect way to unwind. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We put quite a few people into this ranch and had a fantastic stay. We were all comfortable and all of the basic supplies we needed were given to us. The owner was wonderful to work with and I will definitely consider this place again if we are looking to stay in Boulder.

Our recent vacation at Iris Hollow was everthing thing we hoped for. The home is very comfortable, spacious and convenient to all the Boulder "fun" things we wanted to do. It was so nice to wake up, have a big pot of coffee and soak in our private hot tub. We highly recommend this rental.
