  This is a beautiful cabin in a beautiful resort. The property is and looks exactly as described. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to get away for some R&R. I think it is more suited to families with young kids content to play on the beach and the pool. Our kids re older and wanted to "do" something everyday so we ended up driving to Kelowna every day. The only drawback is the hour long drive to the resort and the road leaves a lot to be desired. We stayed there in August 2010 so the road may have been improved since then. I would go back to this resort again.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

  This cottage is absolutely wonderful. I stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect place for us. The views alone were beautiful and comforting. It has everything you could possibly need for a short or long term stay. The neighborhood is so inviting and we enjoyed strolling around. I would say this is the best place around town if you're looking to visit the outskirts of Kelowna. Thanks for everything!

  I've had the pleasure of staying at this cottage twice. Once for a golf trip with the guys and again for a weekend getaway with my family. Each time was amazing! The cottage is comfortable, clean and well furnished. One of the great advantages of this cottage was the clear view of lake okanagan. To wake up to it or to simply sit on the front deck to bbq with that background was great. The resort is also fantastic!! They are equipped with all the amenities you need. You can rent a golf cart to get around if you wish (the kids loved it!), play mini golf, go swimming, play volleyball or just bbq near the pool. They also have a full service restaurant, fitness room and game room. We found that although downtown Kelowna was only a 30min drive away, we didn't really need to leave the resort as we had everything we needed right there. It's a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone!

  The pictures of the cottage do not do it justice! The views from inside and out are beautiful! The cottage was clean and well-maintained & had all the kitchen supplies needed. The owner was quick at responding to emails with any questions regarding the cottage. I would recommend this property to friends and/or family. The resort was great at catering to families with and without kids. The large playground was a bonus! The one draw back about the entire resort, was that the beach area wasn't very big, so in order to get a spot on the sand, you had to be there early.

  We just spent 4 nights at this gorgeous new cottage. We were two couples and two 1 yr old babies - it was the perfect setting for a family. The cottage had everything described in the write up and was spotless. Working with the owner in renting on short notice was a pleasure - he offered the best rental rate by far compared to other Kelowna and even other La Casa rentals. La Casa is a great vacation spot with nice pool, mini put, restaurant, beautiful scenery and awesome lake slide and trampoline. The "beach" is somewhat to be desired though - it's rocks, not sand...so not great for young kids, yet somehow we did still enjoy the lake swimming. We would definitely come back and definitely rent from Bowie again.
