My wife and I stayed in the beautiful apartment for 5 days in April. The owner met us on time and was always available for any questions we had. The location is great in Fort Green, near subway restaurants a good area. The unit was perfect, great kitchen, bed and bath. Just right for two people. The owner was looking for suggestions on what he could add to make it better but we couldn't think of anything, it had everything we needed. We will be coming back on future visits to Brooklyn to visit our daughter. We recommend this for anyone visiting New York and wanting a great affordable place to stay in Brooklyn. So much better than a hotel!!!

Amazing Stay!

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 3 weeks in the summer of 2009. If you want to stay in a great neighborhood with lots of energy, fantastic restaurants, lovely shops, 1 block from a beautiful park (which is off-lease before 9am-our dog LOVED it), and a short ride to Manhattan, this is the place for you. The neighborhood is safe and has such great energy. First of all, the unit was really clean. It has been recently renovated/completed so the furnishings are all modern. The bathroom is spacious (not usually the case in NY apts!) and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is small but it is well designed and user friendly. We cooked a few meals in but with the delicious restaurants in the neighborhood, we preferred to dine out anyway! The living area was a good size and comfortable and same with the sleeping area. Our favorite aspect of the apartment is the windows! An entire wall of huge windows facing the street allowed ample light into the apartment every morning and into the afternoon. While the neighborhood is busy, noise wasn't a problem with all the windows. Being on the second story removed us just enough to be bothered by any noise. Some great people watching can be done from these windows. Gabe, the property owner, was very helpful with our stay. He made sure we were very comfortable and assured us if we had any questions he was happy to help while not being intrusive or overly present. We loved the Mexican restaurant Pequena half a block away and Cafe LaFayette, a lovely french restaurant across the street. I swear, the best pizza in all of NY is directly across the street from this rental property. It's called Not Rays and is absolutely to die for. Since we stayed here, my husband and I crave it all the time...and while we stayed there we ate it too much but couldn't help ourselves haha. Also, to get into the city the subway is literally 15 feet from your front door! It was great to hop on the train and get to Manhattan in a few short minutes. The train was easy to use and super convenient! I would recommend this property to any of my friends or family members who were looking for a place to stay.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
