Marblehead has historic homes, art galleries, old winding roads, a lighthouse and so much more. Nearby Salem is ripe with witches, pirates, House of the Seven Gables, and the incredible Peabody Essex Museum.

Your hosts are a family of four and two pups. We moved "back east" from a tiny ski village in the Sierra Nevada mountains. After living at 7,100 feet for three years, we thought we'd enjoy being at sea level in a seaside town. What a good decision! We live in the most amazing "castle," that was built around 1900 as a carriage house serving the nearby Clifton Train Depot. Although the horses, carriages, and train are long gone, you will be charmed by the beauty and adventure of this old turreted building. Just as we do. We are delighted to welcome people to Marblehead and enjoy our beautiful gardens, yard and seaside community.
