This multi-million dollar lake home invites family gatherings, dinner with friends, or quiet time with a book on the spacious lanai. The home fills with laughter as friends enjoy the deep water pool and feel the refreshing, plunging waters of the waterfall on their shoulders, reminding one of "Dunns River Falls" in Jamaica. Fishing off the max dock, wading in Lake Oconee from the sandy beach, or listening to the waves hitting the granite seawall as they lull you to sleep in the hammock are common place experiences here.

The gourmet kitchen, with its cherry cabinets and black granite counters invites you to stretch your culinary talents. You will marvel at the design features that make every day tasks easier, from the raised dishwasher, sliding cabinet shelves, abundant drawer space, to the huge walk in pantry. Family and friends are never far away as the keeping room with its Sony XBR TV, gas fireplace and leather seating compliments the kitchen. Here all the stories of the day spent on the challenging world famous Cuscowilla Golf course will unfold, and its brutality will seem all but a memory.

All rooms are filled with light provided by oversized windows and doors that pay homage to the 10 to 15 foot tall ceilings, and accent the arches and window pediments.

The Master bedroom features a wall of windows that ushers in some of the most amazing sunrises that you can be blessed with. Thoughtful touches abound with rope lighting, and reading lights
controlled by light switches located at your fingertips next to the sleep number style king size master bed. For those who work late, a home office sits around the corner from the sleeping area.

The master bath features an expansive walk thru shower with raised windows that fill the bath with light, yet protects your privacy. A private water closet complete with a bidet is separated from the main bathroom area by a pocket door.

The first floor guest quarters with its queen size bed is separated from the main living areas and is tastefully decorated. Featuring a walk in in closet, private commode and bath, with a large vanity en suite. Ceiling fan and abundant lighting make nights here a pleasure.

The First floor is completed with a large formal dinning area and living room with 15ft ceilings, and a private office with a cypress ceiling.

The second floor features one bedroom with a king size sleep number style bed, huge bathroom with a oversized walk in shower, and a walk in closet. A window seat between the build in bookcases invites you to sit-a-spell and enjoy the view. A second floor stack-laundry set can be found hidden in the bathroom.

The 2nd bedroom features a Queen size bed, and a private bath. The pool table room , 2nd floor balcony, and den are located adjacent to this bedroom. Privacy to this suite is insured with a lockable glass French door.

The garage will accommodate 5 cars, and is wainscoted with cypress. Above is a large apartment with a full ceramic bath, 2 queen size beds, desk, and den complete with a Sony XBR TV, and stereo system. Its private entrance can assure privacy if needed.

The driveway is oversized and will accommodate extra cars. The gardens surrounding the property invite you gaze and enjoy the beauties of nature. The imported tumbled granite exterior welcomes you with its muted textures, and expansive entry way. Each sleeping area in the main house has its own central air conditioning unit, as does the den and the living room. No detail has been overlooked, all to provide an ease of living that is unequaled.

Year Purchased: 2000

Our Family has lived on the water most of our lives. We grew up on Keuka Lake, in the New York State Finger Lakes Region. Moving to Georgia found us with our first cottage on Lake Sinclair. We Then built 4 more lake homes on Lake Sinclair. Looking for a gated community on Lake Oconee, we bought in Cuscowilla before the roads were in place. We almost hated to see it developed as the land has a special aura that surrounds it. We then built the first home that was built in the subdivision, and sold it to its current owner, our next door neighbor. Our current home was stared in 1998 and finished in 2000. We picked the floor plan after several trips to Naples, FL to view the plans by Sader Design Group. The Home is designed for casual indoor/outdoor living. Tall Ceilings, 9 ft doors, archways, and the highest quality materials compliment your living experience.

All of the sleeping areas are designed for privacy, each with their own bath en suite. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor level and 2 bedrooms on the second level. The Master Suite features a sitting area and office, both with access to the lanai. The 2nd floor bedrooms have a separate media room, pool table room, and balcony. The Large apartment over the garage sleeps 4 in 2 queen size beds, complimented by a full bath and den area. The house will accommodate large gatherings with ease, and traffic flow is excellent with 5 sliding glass doors plus two regular doors to access the lanai and deck that span the entire width of the lakeside. Oak hardwood flooring and ceramic tile baths are found thru out the home with carpet only in the guest apartment
