Why the Owner Chose Rangeley
We used to have a small condo (actually a converted hotel room) at Sugarloaf, but there is more to do year-round in the Rangeley area. We also prefer the family feel of Saddleback, since we have a 12 year old son.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
I could sit in the living room and look out the window at the lake and Bald Mountain for hours. I enjoy snowshoeing, especially early in the morning, and can leave from the back yard and follow the snowmobile trails into town one way, or up to Saddleback the other direction. In the summertime and fall, I don't think I have ever been on a bike ride without seeing a moose, especially going up route 16 to Stratton (a.k.a. "Moose Alley").

Our group spent a wonderful March week enjoying the Carrabassett Valley region using this spacious condominium as our base. The views from the living room are even better than pictured, if you can believe that. The appliances, furnishings, tableware and so forth are all of good quality. Saddleback is only a 7-mile drive away, Sugarloaf a 45-minute drive, the IGA grocery less than a quarter-mile away, and Rangeley town about a half mile walk downhill. Tom and Pat are easy to work with and answered all of our questions beforehand. I have stayed at several vacation places and owned a small condo (which we rented out) in the past and would give this experience my highest recommendation, You won't be disappointed!
