We first stayed at this property in October 2011. We enjoyed it so much that we decided we couldn't wait an entire year to go back. Our most recent stay was at the end of April 2012. It was fabulous! My family (3 adults and two small children) have plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. The condo is lovely and well kept. The owner is so pleasant and gracious. The management company is extremely responsive. The area itself is mostly other condos and not quite as touristy as St. Pete Beach or Treasure Island. Anything you could want or need is nearby. And did I mention the sunsets? Well, they are nothing short of glorious. I can truly say that we've found our "beach home" for as long as the owner will continue to share it. Thanks again for a fantastic and relaxing vacation! We're already planning our fall trip.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at this condo the last week of Oct. 2011. Everything in the condo was in good working condition. We've stayed in three other condos in this building and this was one of the nicest. It isn't one of the most updated (bathroom and kitchen), but it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, however, the plastic sheet liner was very crinkly and slippery. All in all, this was a very pleasant condo to stay in.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

My husband, mother, and two young boys (5 and 3) spent the first week of October 2011 here. From initial contact with the owner to the reservation process to the actual condo to dealing with the realty company, our stay was an absolute pleasure! We truly hated to leave and kept telling ourselves that we'd have to come for two weeks next year. We have often stayed in the St. Pete Beach/Treasure Island/Madeira Beach area, but this, by far, was the best situation we've ever experienced. The condo is well appointed, clean, quiet, and nice. The beach is simply lovely and the kids were thrilled with the daily dolphin visits. The condo is close to everything. We wanted for nothing! Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo with us! We'll definitely book that two-week stay as soon as next year's school schedule is announced.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Some one I work with have told me about VRBO. Thought I would check it out. always stayed in St. Pete, but wanted to look elsewhere. I found your listing on this site in January, 2011. Made my reservation before the end of January. Our stay was July 16 - 23, 2011. WOW!!! what a wonderful place and we had a great stay. I cannot say anything bad about the accomodations as we enjoyed your place so much. Everything was just like it was shown from the pictures on your site. We loved every minute of it. So glad it was available for us! Family together is a real important thing this day and age. We will definately try to make a reservation for next summer. My husband and I love cruising but this family trip was much more special. Thank you so much for all the great things you made available in your Condo. Last time we stayed in a hotel. Never again. This condo was perfect for our family of 6. Covered parking near the elevator was nice due to the heat. The beach is beautiful and quiet I guess because there does not seem to be a large public access nearby. Incredible sunsets! There were plenty of good restaurants nearby and the ice cream store across the street is a lot of fun. We saw fireworks in several directions on July 4th. It was clean and comfortable and the DSL connection was a bonus. See you next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family and I just got back from our first trip to Madeira Beach. If you are looking for a condo in the perfect location with an amazing view of the ocean, then this is the condo for you. Madeira beach has a wonderful family atmosphere and my husband and I were very surprised that there were very few people on the beach. Candy Kitchen is right across the street from the condo and our sons loved walking over every night for hand dipped ice cream. The owner of the condo was very easy to work with and the real estate agency he works with is awesome. Madeira Beach is the best of both worlds because you can stay right on the beach, but you are close enough to Tampa that you can go to Busch Gardens, which we did twice. I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to enjoy their days either sitting on the beach or sitting on the beach front balcony. Thank you Greg for sharing your condo with us….we had a wonderful week!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

I have rented vacation homes in various locales and this was one of my favorites. My family and I rented this condo the week of May 14th and I have to say, IT WAS PERFECT! The furniture was in excellent condition and it was very clean, spacious, and well furnished - with a touch of home. The view was spectacular! We especially enjoyed watching the dolphins in the mornings and the sunset in the evenings from the screened balcony. The pictures on the website are spot on, no surprises. It was exactly what we were looking for and furnished with everything we needed since we do a lot of our own cooking when on vacation as opposed to spending extra money eating out. The entire place was refreshing, relaxing and close to every kind of activity we could imagine. Thank you for helping to make our vacation extra special. I plan to come back to this exact unit again in the future.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had an incredible time at your condo! The view was absolutely amazing! Laying in bed and listening to the waves crash on the beach was so relaxing. It is obvious that you really care about the comfort of your guests and maintaining the property. We could not have been happier with the condition of your home! Everything was very clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, and MUCH better than staying in a hotel! The kids loved playing on the beach and swimming in the pool. We all came back with a great tan :-) We enjoyed being so close to John's Pass and wonderful restaurants. What a great week! Thank you for having us in your home! I have already given your contact information to several of my friends that are looking for somewhere to vacation in the coming months. I told them they couldn't go wrong with your condo. We can't wait to come back soon! We were so grateful to have an underground parking space as well. Thank you again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

My family of 5 stayed in this property and we had a great time. There was plenty of room and the property was pretty clean. The listing is accurate as are the photos...you have to look closely at the "guest bedroom" picture.. it is 2 twins pushed together (which was great!). I have only 2 minor complaints: 1) the stove is ancient and some of the burners don't work so well. 2) the roman tub in the master bath needs help. I would have had to have cleaned it before I felt comfortable sitting in it, but it was fine for a shower. It looks like there once was a tub mat in there... it would be nice to have, but we never really felt like we would slip and fall. The caulking is starting to go, or has gone in some places.. and it's pretty dark in the shower with the curtain closed. These 2 things really didn't affect our vacation.. they were just annoying mostly. Only one other really minor annoying thing was that most of the stuff (other than sand toys) in the balcony closet are broken or don't work. But again.. this is super minor because I really didn't expect there to be anything in there at all. Overall this was a great vacation and a great property. We loved the view from the screened balcony (you can raise the screen in one place) watching the dolphins as we ate breakfast. The condo building itself is well maintained (the maintenance guy even came by while we were there to change out the a/c filter). Oh.. the walls are thin.. you can hear a lot of noise from neighboring units, but that's not the owner's fault and again, it didn't ruin our vacation.. just an annoyance. The great accommodations, fantastic view, great location (super close to John's Pass) made this a fantastic vacation. I'd definitely come back again with the family. Oh.. as a bonus, the parking spot is covered so your car won't bake in the sun :) There is no wi-fi provided in this unit, but this is a vacation, right? :) Thanks for a great time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, adventure seekers.

The location was FANTASTIC, literally steps away from the beach, and the condo size was good. To give the owner the benefit of the doubt, I will preface my review by saying I am a particular and very clean person, but.... I had a real problem with the condition of the furnishings in the living room, and the cleanliness of the carpets and balcony. The furniture in the living room looked good, but both the couch and chair were so broken down that it was impossible to get comfortable and enjoy sitting on them. We had to wear socks all the time because the carpet was so dirty the bottoms of our feet would be so black we would have to wash them before putting on our shoes or going to bed. The balcony also had stains on the floor and was dirty...we went out first thing and bought a broom so we could sweep it. There were even holes in the wall over the kitchen sink. The Roman tub looked like it might be a work in progress and was extremely slick with no rubber mat. We had to put a bath towel down in the bottom of the tub before we showered to keep from falling, and a bath towel down in front of the bathroom sink over the dirty carpet. I have stayed on the Gulf Coast many times and this was a disappointment to other places I have stayed. I really appreciate comfort and cleanliness when I vacation away from home, and this condo could have been a lot better. In my opinion, the condo needs some new living room furniture and a good carpet cleaning throughout, and a little tender loving care.Recommended for: Sightseeing.
Owner response: We take all reviews seriously and would like to address these comments. Since 2003, we have always utilized our property management company to book rental inquiries from VRBO. They are less than 5 miles from our condo and are extremely responsive to any customer needs. We encourage all of our guests to contact the property management company if there are ever any concerns and they will be addressed immediately. Regarding the carpet, it was cleaned shortly before your stay but we did have quite a bit of traffic in the condo during the month of April - so we apologize if it was dirty again so soon. The unsightly holes over the kitchen sink unfortunately were a result of a rough group of spring break guests prior to your stay who pulled the paper towel holder off the wall. The Roman tub usually has a non-slip mat but this was evidently removed by a previous guest and not replaced. The property management company has full authority to do additional cleaning or repairs at any time if our guests call and request this. We called them after receiving this review and the carpet, tub and paper towel holder have all been remediated. Thank you for bringing them to our attention. As far as the living room furniture goes, we disagree with the assessment. The furniture is comfortable and in good shape: especially for relaxing in the evenings after a long day on the beach. We take tremendous pride in our home away from home and always want our guests to be comfortable and have a very pleasant experience. Thank you for your comments and we apologize that all aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations.
