Old world charm, comfort and convenience await your alpine escape on Gore Creek at the Vail Racquet Club Building 7 - Condo 12.
My husband and his family are third generation Boulder, Colorado natives. He began to enjoy the epic skiing, fly-fishing, hiking, biking and golfing that Vail has to offer in the 1970s. As for myself, I was born south of the Mason Dixon line in the Mississippi Delta and was first introduced to skiing Vail in the 1980s. Of course it was “love at first run” and now I would never miss my husband & his friends dragging me along for “first chair”!
So when the occasion arose to own one of those rare sunny, corner units at Vail Racquet Club we jumped at the opportunity. We are absolutely certain that you too will enjoy our freshly remodeled second floor condominium overlooking the East Vail Chutes, cascading waterfalls and Gore Creek. The unit is strategically located with a balcony, deck and excellent floor plan. It is a mere 8 steps from the parking lot to our front door and private ski/snowshoe/fly fishing gear/hiking shoes closet! Once inside you will experience all of the customary amenities while lighting a fire, reliving the tales of the day, cooking dinner or preparing to dine at the on-site restaurant.
A gold rated property, "The Vail Racquet Club", offers breathtaking alpine ambience and borders the White River National Park in scenic East Vail. This European style complex underwent a $3 million renovation in 2004 and offers a year-round heated 25 meter pool, 14 tennis courts, snowshoe rentals, state-of-the-art workout room, fitness classes, hot tub, sauna, steam room, massages and lockers (fee required). It is conveniently located on the free Town of Vail shuttle bus, which runs approximately every 15-20 minutes.
Perhaps one of the greatest thrills of travel is to leave the everyday behind. By visiting places so utterly different you engage your being anew. Visit Vail. Renew your senses. Experience amazing things.

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend at this great VRC condo. We felt it was an excellent value. The second half-bath made our morning routines go smoothly. It was quiet, the furnishings comfy, and the kitchen compact but complete. The shuttle was 1 block from the condo. I was also impressed with the Racket Club itself and the Alpine Tavern. VRC has a separate adults-only hot tub, as well as one for families by the pool, a coffee shop, and small boutique. Finally, the owner was easy to work with.

We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful corner condo. We prepared all our meals and lunches in this well equiped kitchen! We had driven here so the City Market of Vail, just two Exits West off Hwy 70 was our go-to store. The layout for the unit is very open and the extra bathroom facilities made catching the early morning shuttle bus much easier! ...Eight days of fabulous skiing!! Sarah was great to work with by promptly answering any questions or concerns. We have recommended it to friends. Thanks for making our short-notice-stay possible Sarah...and for the bonus 24" of powder over two days!

We arrived in Vail on January 3 and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is perfect for a party of 2 or 3. We've cooked in quite a bit which has allowed us to relax at night after a long day of skiing. Having a second bathroom is great. The fitness club is conveniently located and a big plus. The bus stop to the Vail transportation center is closeby and runs every 15 minutes. Having a car is nice for trips to the grocery store but you can use the free shuttle if you don't have one.

This cozy condo was very comfortable and convenient for our visit to the Vail Valley. It is close to the bike trail and is nestled in the trees on a creek. The front porch was a great place to relax, have a drink and enjoy the fresh mountain air. The condo was very clean and the on site restaurant was an added bonus. We had a great stay.

We stayed in this lovely condo for 6 nights and it was the perfect place from which to experience all that Vail has to offer. The condo is a sunny spacious end unit which is very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with new appliances and cookware and we enjoyed making some meals at home. The outside decks provide the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine. The free shuttle stops right at the Racquet Club which made getting about very convenient. The condo is also very close to the bike path which I highly recommend if you are there in the summer. The owners were fabulous to work with and have put many extra touches into this condo so that you really feel like you are "at home". I highly recommend staying here.

To continue my comments. When I first started looking for a condo in the Vail area, as you know there is a sea of condos to choose from. When I saw the photo of this one and the description of it being on Gore Creek and a corner unit, that is all it took for me to choose this one. It is a fantastic place and for a great price!! Another thing that was really nice is that it has a full bath and a half bath. So when you and your honey go, you don't have to fight for the bathroom to do your make up. Or if you have someone else traveling with you an extra half bath is really nice. Also the Vail Racquet Club has a heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, tennis courts, and so many nice amenities. You just can't beat it!!

We arrived at the Vail Racquet Club on a Wednesday evening. We found the condo easily from the directions Sarah provided. The condo had everything you needed, plenty of kitchen utensils, magazines and maps of the Vail area, and a comfortable bed. The condo backs up to Gore Creek and what a great view. It was nice to sit out on the back deck in the evenings and have a glass of wine and listen to the creek run. The condo complex also has a great restaurant where we had dinner one night. It was also quiet anytime we were there which was nice because you never know if there will be a bunch of kids running around to disrupt your stay. We will visit again sometime soon!!

What I liked about this condo and my stay. The owner's were very easy to reach and work with. The condo was all that the advertised and more. It was very clean, updated, and nice touches of paintings and art, a comfortable home like feel. The kitchen has everything! Linens and towels appear new. Loved using the spa facilities and being able to get a massage on site. Backs up to a creek instead of other condos and is an end unit. Parking was outside but at the door. I have stayed at two other units in this complex. This one was the best. I will be back.
