You could not be closer to all of the magic of San Miguel than in Casita Rosa, just one level block to the Jardin. This beautifully decorated apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen with built in eating area looking out to a lovely stone fountain. The living room has a boveda ceiling with skylight and an easily-operated gas fireplace for cool mornings. Upstairs is a loft/office with a pull out bed, and a bedroom with built-in furniture and bath with a heater and shower, all done in hand-made majolica tile. There is a private roof terrace with washer and dryer, table and chairs for eating, umbrellas for shade and a covered, cushioned banquette for curling up with a good book.
Casita Rosa is located within the walls of Cinco Flores, our secure colonial compound, filled with fountains and plants, art and antiques. Just one block to the Jardin, Parroquia and the historic centro, you can walk to restaurants, shops and food and craft markets. Furnishings are modern, elegantly done in warm Mexican colors and filled with the work of local artists, photographers and artisans. Maid service included. Additional support services available on request (airport pick-up and drop-off, cooking as needed, information on local activities, etc.) Let us know what you need to make your vacation in San Miguel perfect for you!

This was our first trip to SMA, and we can only say nice things about the city, and this casita! First off- the location is perfect! Within 2 blocks of the Jardin and yet tucked away from the busy street. The moment you walk through the front door, you are enveloped with a sense of tranquility. The casita was fully equipped- right down to a juice maker. The decor is lovely- with warm, vibrant colours, fun art work and comfortable furnishings that give an elegant but homey feel to the unit. Closet/ drawer space is more than adequate for even longer stays than our 1 week. AND, while the casita is great.. the roof top garden terrace is FANTASTIC! It was such a treat to come home everyday after our long walks, and relax with a glass of wine, and unwind in the beautiful garden area and enjoy the view. A wonderful experience and a truly wonderful stay...We will definitely choose to stay here again! Bob and Carol, we will certainly recommend your casita to anyone we know coming to San Miguel.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We lived in this wonderful property for 8 months and loved it!. Beautifully decorated and exquisitely maintained, the apartment is perfect for two adults and will accommodate the occasional short-term guest. Our little Maltese made fast friends with the owners' dogs and loved the daily walks to the nearby park and the jardin. Cooking is my passion and I had everything I possibly needed to prepare wonderful meals. Daily short walks to shop at the local markets were a treat. Evening cocktails at sunset on the roof terrace or in the lovely walkway by the fountain were a great way to end the day. Some of the best restaurants in Mexico are within easy walking distance. We cannot recommend this or any of the other apartments in the Casa more enthusiastically.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We have spent the last 2 weeks in Casita Rosa and have had an absolutely wonderful experience. Casita Rosa is beautifully decorated, comfortable and in one of the best locations in all of San Miguel de Allende. We were happy whether we cooked in, read or dined on our rooftop terrace or walked to an unbelieveable amount of nearby restaurants. The property is meticulously maintained, safe and secure. The owners and staff are extemely helpful There is so much to do all within walking distance of this location. Beautiful churches and historical sites, shopping, and just people watching. We will definetly return to Casa Rosita and would recommend either of their rentals to anyone wanting to experience this wonderful city.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Robert and I have always loved Mexico -- so, no surprise that when we visited San Miguel we knew immediately that this was where we wanted to be! We had developed other properties in the US, but that did not necessarily prepare us for the construction process in Mexico! But, when all was said and done, we had the great good fortune to have taken a small run-down residential compound in the heart of the historic center of town and made it into an oasis of calm and beauty, where we love to be and where we love to greet others coming to San Miguel. Whether you are a tourist, or are considering moving to Mexico, we would love to have you join us at Cinco Flores.
Why the Owner Chose Centro Historico:
This is truly a magical town -- a well-deserved UNESCO World Heritage site. Cobblestone streets, gorgeous architecture, arts and crafts, and the occasional donkey side by side with art galleries and restaurants make the ambiance here 'muy amable.' Because the weather is mild year round, we enjoy being outdoors daily on our patios and roof terraces. Just breathing in the air, listening to the fountains, walking the streets makes us happy.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We are as close as it is possible to be to the town Center and all it's sights and activities. We have full-time staff to make your stay comfortable. We live on site, and are able to provide guidance and support as needed.
