Beautiful two-story home with unobstructed views of the ocean from La Pastora surf break, to the north the to the hills of Punta Lobos to the south. Located in Las Tunas neighborhood. 2.5 Km. north of Todos Santos town center. A separate driveway takes you one block off the road toward the ocean to a place of uninterrupted peace and quiet, but for the ocean's roar. The house has a unique design with old Mediterranean mixed with modern. All of the rooms were designed with large windows oriented to take advantage of the views of the ocean and landscape. Many of the walls and ceilings are curved and there is a feeling of movement, openness and light. The round living room has built-in bench seating at the perimeters. There are exposed brick domed ceilings above the entrance hall and living room with designs and craftsmanship of old traditions.

The house forms a U around a courtyard that opens to the north. Covered walkways access the 1st floor bedrooms and connect to a veranda which wraps around the front of the house. There are thatched or rustic wood awnings on the veranda and the upstairs balconies.

The kitchen has tiled counters and a center preparation/serving island with a sink.

The house may be rented as a whole, including the 2nd floor master suite or as the 1st floor only ( 2 bedrooms; 1.5 baths) with access to large 2nd floor terrace.

World-class surf-break La Pastora, is either a nice half hour good walk on the beach, or only 10 minutes away. Enjoy beatiful views of La Pastora from various points from the house. North 15 kms of the famous Los Cerritos surf break. There are several other excellent surf-breaks in the area. Los Cerritos is also a good swimming and boogie-boarding beach, and Las Palmas is is beautiful horseshoe shaped beach which is great for swimming, boogie-boarding, and on the right swell and tide, a great surf break as well. There are also many other beaches suitable for sunbathing, beach-combing, whale watching, horseback riding, swimming, boogie-boarding. Several beaches, with reef breaks, beach breaks, and shore breaks.

Giving back to the community is part of sharing this piece of paradise. Thus, a portion of the funds from the house rental are going to establish a free community heath promotion clinic in Todos Santos.

I used to live near this area. Todos Santos is a very charming town, the Carmel of Mexico, where anyone can get away from the busy life and enjoy magnificent views, unspoiled beaches, galleries, great restaurants and good wine, yet a keep it a simple life with easygoing, interesting, friendly people. Native locals, and a diverse international community and visitors all get along.

The Unique Benefits of this House

I have one of the most magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Madre. The ocean is so close that you can clearly hear the waves and the birds. When the moon is small, the sky is filled with thousands of stars, that normally you can't see. The peacefulness that the area offers is re-invigorating. The area is known for the city of the 365 sunsets, they are spectacular, and you definitely can enjoy them from the comfort of the house, or also, you can join the eclectic mix of this friendly, diverse, international and local community, at the beach. The area is safe and peaceful.
