Experience a relaxing vacation with captivating scenery from this 2nd floor, oceanfront dream at Carolina Beach! Delight in leisure activities on the wide sandy beach or unwind with a good book on the oceanfront, private covered deck while the rhythmic sounds of the ocean create a calming and restive atmosphere.
Our vacation condo is named "Beachfront ELM" (Unit 2B). It is located in Winds III condominium complex, and is fully equipped for your comfort, relaxation, and possesses everything for a wonderful family vacation or a romantic getaway. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, full kitchen, washer/dryer, 2 private covered decks, and a living/dining room with direct, unobstructed views of the ocean.
Beds consist of 1 queen, 2 twins, and a queen sleeper/sofa. The condo will sleep a maximum of 6. There is assigned parking. For your convenience, complimentary high speed wired/wireless internet connection is provided.
Carolina Beach, which is part of Pleasure Island along with Kure Beach and Fort Fisher, offers a number of excellent restaurants, specialty retail shops, drug stores, a very nice full service grocery, beach rentals (bikes, etc.), ice cream parlors, charter cruises, the North Carolina Aquarium, and numerous sporting activities for the entire family.
The lake on the island offers a paved walking trail, playground, paddle boats, and kayaking. Several excellent golf courses are located within minutes from the beach.
It is located just minutes away from the port city of Wilmington where you will find shopping, restaurants, and the historic downtown district filled with interesting sites and experiences. Wilmington is the home of the North Carolina Azalea Festival held in April featuring live musical and theater performances, garden and historic home tours, outdoor activities, food, and crafts. Other points of interest in Wilmington are the USS North Carolina Battleship and Museum.
Cars or bicycles may be taken onto the ferry that travels from Fort Fisher to Southport, which are both great places to visit. Come and experience for yourself why so many people return to Carolina Beach for a restful, undisturbed getaway from the usual daily demands.

On Sunday nights enjoy free movies at the lake shown on a large, outside screen.
