The condo was very clean and comfortable, was actually much better than expected. The property listing is accurate in description. Has been years since we have vacationed at Carolina Beach and our trip was most enjoyable. "Beachfront Elm" is walking distance to the Boardwalk with entertainment, activities and food.

What a pleasant surprise to find this condo after many visits to Carolina Beach staying in barely acceptable accommodations. This is a winner! The condo is very clean, beautifully appointed with upscale decor, an expansive view of the ocean, a sizeable porch that gets both sun and shade. We are seniors and the steps on many condos can be challenging. These steps had rails on both sides, tightly nailed down no slip plastic on all the steps, and landings to take a breath if need be. Best of all was the customer service. Whoops, I left an important article behind and it was in the mail to me the next day. Also got to talk to the owner of the condo who is also an absolute "keeper".

We were very pleased with this condo and all its ammenities. It was very comfortable and clean with a most pleasing beach decor. (Photos were very precise and current.) The deck was larger than expected from pictures--we stayed out there much of the time. Enjoyed some sunrises, moon reflecting on water, watching the shrimp boats, surfers, pelicans, eating and more. Beach was very nice and not crowded at all (after Labor Day). Was able to spend 5 of these days here with our daughter and husband from another state. The tropical storms brewing around had us a little worried before coming, but they stayed off shore and the weather was great (hot) until the day we left when it rained and turned cold. Enjoyed getting to scout around Wilmington area. Our only drawback was having to get all our belongings up to the 2nd floor..we aren't as young as we used to be (69 & 74)! But, our view from this floor was unobstructed and great. We probably will not use this unit again because of no elevator, but would highly recommend it to younger folks. The owner and the rental agency have all been very kind to us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beach here.

My family had a great time at Beachfront Elm. This was our first visit to Carolina Beach and it was wonderful! The condo was clean and comfortable. The oceanfront deck has an amazing view. The deck is huge and I fell asleep every night on the lounge chair listening to the ocean. We saw dolphins following the fishing boats in the morning and watched the Pelicans fish in the evening. The beach was the cleanest we have ever seen on the coast. We saw fish, mussels, and crabs in the surf, which was so fun for the kids. Anyone with 4 wheel drive has got to visit Fort Fisher for the day, drive on the beach, and relax. We were practically the only people there when we went and it was awesome! The only draw back to the condo was trying to keep our kids from running on the laminate floors and bothering the people downstairs. If you are looking for a great beach community and a great place to stay you found it!

My stay at the Elm was great!! Very clean and comfortable, the beach view was beautiful!!Location to all of the resturants and downtown was in walking distance. The week was just great!! Hats off to the owner!! Would stay again, looking foward to next year!!!

My family & I loved the condo. The view of the beach from the deck is great. My four year old daughter wanted to eat breakfast on the deck every morning! The condo has everything you would need for a week at the beach. In addition, its location is ideal. The condo is close enough to walk to the boardwalk area but far enough away to miss all the noise at night. This was our first trip to Carolina Beach and will not be the last. We definitely look to return to Beachfront Elm!

We arrived after traveling for 12 hours with four small children to arrive with no where to park. My husband had to walk the beach to find a person who was parked in one of our two reserved spots. After the 4th of July holiday weekend was over, we didn't have a problem with one spot being open but it did seem that others who have no business parking there didn't seem scared of the towing enfored signs posted. Fortuately we only had one vehicle to worry about parking. Also, with the hard floors it wasn't so pleasant for the guests below us as it is hard to keep 4 very young children quietly walking on the 2nd floor.

Owner response:I appreciate any feedback that I receive on my beach home, and I’m very glad when my guests share any experiences with me. My beach home has assigned parking, so I am really sorry that parking was an issue. Unfortunately, and especially on a July 4th weekend, parking is a universal, beach-wide concern. All of my guests have my phone number and email address and are welcomed and encouraged to call me prior or during their stay with any concerns, as I can help resolve any issue. The property management company name and phone number is also posted at the entrance of the complex to assist guests with these type concerns. I am totally committed to making everyone’s stay at Beachfront ELM a positive and comfortable experience! Thanks again for the feedback.

Myself and my family had a great time here. The view of the ocean from the deck is amazing and the condo has all of the amenities that anybody would need. Carolina Beach is a great place to stay, close enough to plenty of shopping and restaurants without the hussle and bussle of places such as Myrtle Beach. Will definately be back!! Chad

THIS IS OUR FAVORITE PLACE TO STAY WHEN WE VISIT THE BEACH. THE VIEWS ARE GREAT, JUST LOOK OUT AND THERE IS THE OCEAN. THE AMENITIES ARE EXCELLENT, FLAT SCREEN TV'S, DVD, WELL STOCKED KITCHEN WARE, WIRELESS WI-FI. THE CONDO IS WELL MAINTAINED, VERY CLEAN, AND NICELY DECORATED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK!

My family and I just returned from a wonderful week at "Beachfront Elm", and I can't say enough about how wonderful our visit was. The house is very nice, clean, and comfortable. Easy walking distance to many attractions, but still quiet and secluded. Loved being able to sit on the patio and watch the water, take short walk to the beach, or simply just sit back and relax. I would highly recommend this home to anyone!!

This condo is wonderfully clean and directly on the ocean. It is well postioned- far enough from downtown to avoid the noise but close enough to walk. It is also an easy walk to the marina on the canal. The deck overlooking the ocean has a table and four chairs and we ate out there every meal. Nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit and there is a small pool shared with the building next door that wasn't crowded. No complaints!

Perfect location, perfect place......close enough to the Boardwalk to have fun, but still quiet enough for relaxing! We were able to watch the Thursday night fireworks from the balcony! The oceanview is incredible! We look forward to another visit! thank you! Brad, Janet, Emily & Grace
