  This was our first trip to Kauai and we did not know what to expect. The condo and complex are perfectly located on the east side of the island, a five minute drive from grocery, restaurants, drug store, coffee, snorkel rental and other amenities. You can also walk down Papaloa Road to a gas station, coffee shop, pizza place and few other restaurants or the direction to an open air mall with Harley's BBQ, ice cream, the Trees Lounge...you get the picture. Plenty of stuff close by and some of the best beaches on the island only 20-30 miles away on the North Shore (least these were our favorites). The only complaint I had were the towels. I think we had 2 beach towels and 4 regular towels for a week long stay. After re-using each towel a couple of times we still had to do laundry. A few more regular towel would have really made a difference. There is an on site laundrymat (1.50 to wash and 1.00 to dry) but laundry on a vacation? That cuts into rum and beach time. Otherwise, free internet and computer, cooler, snorkel gear, games, TV, a lending library, blender. This place has everything you need for a complete and relaxing vacation.

  This unit is one of the best locations in the development, in Wailua and Kauai. It is spacious and their renovations have stood up well. Craig and Shari are operating a first rate destination. They deliver exactly as advertized, honest to work with and immediately responsive. The grounds are beautifully maintained. We enjoyed the pool, ocean activities and is ideally located for sight seeing and dining

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing.

  The fact that it's beach front, beautifully landscaped, exquisitely equipped, on the east side (making it an easy drive to all points of paradise), is why it is the PERFECT home base.  No need to look else where, if it's available, grab it quick!

  This is our second stay at Lae Nani and the property is exactly as described. It is beautifully updated and you won't find a better view in all of Kapa'a! You can sit on your lanai overlooking the ocean a mere 25 feet away. In fact, the roar of the ocean is so constant that my husband used silicon ear plugs to sleep. I find the sound washes away all my mental 'squirrels' and helps me relax. The furnishings are beautiful, modern and comfortable. We really appreciated the Dell computer, the personal touches, and were able to easily connect our iPads/phones with the wifi - an important consideration in 2012! The only thing we honestly missed, and no fault of the owners, was a jacuzzi at the pool. That said, there is an ocean "jacuzzi" right outside - an area encircled with lava boulders that you could consider your own private hot tub! We got lucky and on the second to last night, an endangered monk seal beached right outside. We spent alot of time out on the island, but also because this place is so comfortable and gracious, spent time too, just enjoying the condo. Dinner on the lanai can be the best place in town. The owners are quite considerate. We mis-placed the opening instructions and they emailed us a last minute copy. Don't hesitate on this one.... or it will be booked up! Thanks, Craig and Shari!

  My fith and best trip to Kauai. It was a great trip in no small part due to our great accomodations at this condo. Clean, modern, well decorated, extensively equipped and handy to so many Kauai attractions. The grounds and pool were excellent as well. We look forward to a return stay.

  We spent 12 days in the islands and your condo was absolutely the best part of it! Beautiful furnishings and the comfiest beds - loved the bathroom! Definitely a work of art. Gorgeous view of the ocean from the lanai and superbly kept grounds. And so great to have a full computer system, loaded with all the apps needed to process pictures and videos and browsers to suit every taste. We'll definitely come back to your place next time we visit Kauai!

  Just a note to say THANK YOU for sharing your beautiful condo with us. The shower and bathroom was the best!! You should include pics of that in your website. Everything was wonderful and especially the excellent view. We had a fantastic vacation. Thanks also for allowing us to have a late checkout. That made a big difference in our overnight flight coming home. Thanks again for the "spoiling" accomodations. Kayla and Mike

  My wife and I have used vrbo for several visits to Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Mexico. This is by far the nicest condo we have stayed in. The furnishings are top of the line and the location right on the beach gives you a million dollar view. We will definitely stay at Craig and Shari's next time we are in Kauai. Mahalo

  Comment Text: The condo unit was, BY FAR, the very best part of our honeymoon in Kauai! Unbelievable furnishings, classy, elegant, open, airy, sophisticated and modern! Very romantic nights sitting on the lanai just feet from the ocean. Incredible marble master bath, wonderful and modern kitchen, fantastic furnishings and art as well as a very cozy bed! If you want THEE BEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND, this is it!

  Wonderful condo that offers the best site and access to the island of Kauai! We loved the furnishings and had such a comfortable feeling, yet keeping everything and detail high end. Thanks Craig and Shari for the memories. We will be back again and again!
