This beautiful Cape Cod home has restored and re-energized our family, friends and guests. This house is perfectly situated in this culturally rich town, known for it's oysters and its artists. Our house is on a quiet street and you can walk to restaurants, shops, or galleries. You can bike to the ponds or ocean beaches or walk to Mayo beach or to the library. It's big enough and comfortable enough to hang out in, playing games, doing puzzles, catching up on reading on any day, but airy and open enough to enjoy sunny summer. The internet connection allows work to be done as needed. A great house for a variety of ages, young kids can go to the beach while teens ride their bikes to the pier, to the beach or to the tennis courts. The older set can wander around town, looking at art while stopping for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
Daytime beach going allows for sun and surf, ponds allow wildlife and sailing or kayaking, and the evenings allow for a moonlit walk through the salt marsh at various tides over Uncle Tim's bridge. A walk through wilderness and salt marshes takes you out to Long Point, just before the now submerged former sailor's hangout, Billingsgate Island.
The privacy of each bedroom make it a perfect place to come with 2 families or to have grandparents or guests. The lower level has a bedroom with separate entry, kitchen, sitting area, fireplace and bath. The main kitchen is very large and well appointed, a great place to cook a leisurely dinner. The living room is cozy. All in all a perfect vacation home.

Why the Owner Chose Wellfleet
Nothing more peaceful or mentally recharging than this town. Great for the family. Can work from the home. It's a perfect place for all ages. Little kids love the ponds and the bay beaches, (not to mention the candy and ice cream store.) As kids grow, they get the independence of riding their bikes around town, to the basketball court, to the beach, to the pier (not to mention the candy and ice cream store.) The teens can safely wander around town, surf, go on the more rigorous bike trails in Provencetown. And adults can do it all (or none of it, but sit and read, eat at great restaurants and meander around galleries.)
