Please come and enjoy this peaceful and serene setting and our Butterfly Beach Studio Cottage. Tucked away down a quiet lane but close to all amenities we know you will love it here. A 10 minute walk to Coast Village Road you will find everything you need... coffee, food, shopping, groceries, or Butterfly Beach near the Four Season's Biltmore Hotel.
Situated on our property but not attached to our home is our unique cottage with private entrance and patio for your enjoyment. This studio has always been a long term rental but after a beautiful renovation we have decided to make it a vacation rental so others can enjoy as much as we do.
Sit back in the patio and barbecue after a long day at the beach or enjoy a movie on the 40" flat screen TV. There is a mini kitchen with granite counter and sink plus small appliances for all of your needs.
The cottage is cozy and can fit 1 child or 2 small children. We have everything you need for the beach including towels, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and ocean kayaks. We also have bicycles for your enjoyment.

We live on this property and this is a seperate guest cottage that we are using for a vacation rental.
The Unique Benefits at this Guest Cottage
We love the beach, biking, beach volleyball, kayaking, hiking, tennis. All of these activities are withing a 10 minute walk or car ride from our property. This area has so much to offer, including a lot of cultural things to do and see in downtown Santa Barbara day and night, not to mention the wonderful weather year-round!
This tunnel is well lit with a beautiful mural painted on both walls & is a frequently used way to get to Butterfly Beach easily from our neighborhood.
When it's low tide you can walk all the way to the Santa Barbara Wharf heading west on the beach or all the way to Carpinteria heading south. Great tide-pooling along the way.
Beautiful grounds and great restaurants or have a drink at the bar and enjoy the scenery.
Bike path for riding, walking, rollerblading. Takes you to wharf, harbor, and all the way to USCB if you are adventureous.
Get whatever you need here at Vons. There is also a bakery/coffee house called Zanadu, Pannini sandwich place, Montecito Health foods, Starbucks, Post Office inside Read & Post, barber, and dry cleane
Enjoy summer concerts at the Music Academy. 15 minute walk from Butterfly Beach Cottage
Every Friday between 8am and 11:15am enjoy a wonderful farmer's market on Coast Village Road.
Owner's Map of Montecito
After meetng in Santa Barbara and marrying here in 1979 we decided to find the perfect property for us. We love the beach and wanted a location that we could walk to most everything or be a few minutes drive away. We bought this property in 1982 and have remodeled and renovated to make it a wonderful home and enviornment for raising our 3 children. We deicded to share this ideal setting with others so that you may enjoy this part of California as much as we do.
